  2. The choke tubes should not have been interchangeable. Sometimes even with the same manufacturer you can not use the same choke depending on the models. That should be apparent when purchasing, unless one strolls into Walmart and grabs one off the rack without reading the package and if it won't fit, get a bigger wrench.

  5. OK guys, I don't remember ever being this excited for archery season. Carlee has decided to give archery hunting a try. She is hitting dead on out to 40 yards, she can only shoot 30 yards at deer though. She wants to try it and see if it is something she will like. We are using a blind, which I have never done before because she has said and I quote. " I DON'T DO CAMO' LOL. the cross bow is ready, there are 5 bucks on the trail camera. and we just need season to open next saturday and it is a go. Lets hope for a good experience so it continues. I did promise if she likes it I will take her to hunt with her Pappy in Montana

  6. What can I say. William needed a few alternates to even teams up, and you guys needed a 5th. Hoping to get out at least as much as I did last year. Still pretty busy at home. 4 in college now including my wife, 2 sons recovering from surgery, daughter dropped rowing, but picked up power lifting, and my youngest is 3rd trumpet as an 8th grader in his high school band, so my life really revolves around them right now, especially band. Supposed to get a big cool down tomorrow, so I might try and get out before the weekend, possibly Sunday. I know Saturday is out with 2 band events. Trail cam is only picking up 2 fawns I've been seeing all summer. They apparently lost momma very early in their lives. I see them almost daily at all times of the day. Not much movement around me other than that, but I'm hopeful as the days get shorter and cooler.

  8. Welcome to the team Chris. I drove home from MO yesterday. Heat has the deer mostly nocturnal in MO. I'll wait for a cool spell before I go back there. Season opens in MS on 10/1 but I'm not sure if I want to climb in a stand unless it cools off here too. We'll see. Need to go check my cams in MS though. Haven't checked them in over 3 weeks.
