  1. Your so smart, DB! Come into my thread and start with smack.:clown:
  2. I'm ready to go and I'll be right there with you on this coming Saturday.
  3. Hey guys, Looks like a good team to me. I am so ready for next weekend to be in the woods and slinging a broadhead through something. Good luck to you guys and let's pray to the big buck God! LOL;) I like the name "Vital Hits"
  4. Great buck and no less than 140" at 4 1/2 years.
  5. If ST's are so good, then why do they need four blades to do what a Muzzy can do with three? :saber: Chuck Norris was at my house this weekend, helping me build a new storage building. He was cutting the wood with his hands and driving the nails with his feet.
  6. I've got 13 more sleeps before I'm in the stand hunting. Good luck to you and I hope to see photos of you with the big Mulie your after.
  7. It's a plaining problem, fieldtips don't have the blades that the broadheads do. I had the same problems with the 100's when I shot them, they always hit low and left. I just made the adjustment on my sights and went hunting. I now shoot the 75 with great success on the same impact of fieltips and broadheads. I've been shooting them for 6 years now and do not have any problems with penetration or killing efficency with them. I've used Muzzy's for 17 years and will never switch from them, I tried the Tekans on one deer when they came out. Now trying a Rage 2 blade this coming season just for giggles, but Muzzy will stay in my quiver.
  8. This is a BS thread if the main topic is slick tricks and mathews, I think I'd rather keep talking about the Elite 4200 in the bowhunting forum. I got a 3200 on my 22 Hornet and love it. Does a ST make any bigger hole than a Muzzy with the same cutting diameter? :chat: Does a Mathews shooting 280 fps kill a deer any faster than a ROSS shooting 280 fps?:boxing: Hey Spikekiller! You got an ugly deer picked out yet?
  9. Order my strings and harnesses, got my own serving jig and do all my own work. So, with the exception of the cost on the string and harness as well as the first cost of the jig and serving spool, labor is free. Most shops will charge a flat rate of 20 to 30 dollars to work on a bow not sold at their shops.
  10. Pretty cool and a few of those shots I'd never take, but didn't have a pass the shot option.
  11. I'm ready for September 12th!
  12. Shot a couple of them with my bow. Just plan on getting rid of the arrow afterwards. I was having problems with them in a area I was hunting, these little boogers were everywhere and standing on their front legs with their hind-quarters in the air aiming at me. I took aim first and let them have it.
  13. Thought the rut came in around December to January in Texas. Good luck in Wyoming.
  14. I was very pleased to help out in the fundraiser and was excited about getting some Muzzy emblemes, hat, and huggies for my refreshments from Mr. Oitker. I might have went a little high on the bidding, but I wanted it and it is for a great cause. Mr. Oitker went above and beyond himself on the package I received from him. Dude, the package was awesome :jaw:and I was like a kid in the candy shop going through it. Thank you so much for the extras you put in there, your a very generous person and it doesn't go without recognition.:toot: Thank you again and I will enjoy all this stuff.
  15. Goldtip Hunter XT in 5575's. No problem with getting through shoulder bones, had great success with them.
  16. I'll have to scan the picture at work to get it posted on here, but mine was a 6 point shot in Alabama on a hunt. I was the only one out of 10 guys that went, who hadn't killed a deer with a bow. Ended up I shot him on our opening morning hunt and killed a big Doe the next morning. I shot at him the first time at 27 yards, hit a branch and went over his back. He just turned and walked straight towards me and I got an 8 yard shot on him, right down between the shoulder blades. Dropped him in his tracks and then I about fell out of the stand from shaking so bad. Had to sit up there in the stand for an extra 30 minutes before I could attempt to get down.
  17. Nice looking bow, I've never heard to them before. They kind of remind me of a cross between a ROSS riser and bow tech cams.
  18. My bad John...........I isread your post and thought you were going to higher limbs than the 50's. I should have read thoroughly, if your going to hang out at 50#'s then you'll be fine.
  19. Congrats on the shooting John, its really coming around for you. Just remember by going to heavier limbs it adds weight all the way around. Your holding weight at full draw will increase as well so you'll need to keep practicing to build your muscles up for that weight. Keep up the good shooting, your doing great.
  20. Is that a archery shop in Athens, Ohio? Or, is it a manufacturer in Athens ?
  21. Muzzy 75 grain 3-blade. I will try out the Rage 2-blade
