  1. Didn't want to post it in here since it's a fish, but you folks need to check out his biggun he caught a few weeks ago. Finally got the pictures scanned and uploaded for him to show it off in the fishing forum! That's my boy!!!!:D:D
  2. Yeah lets see some pictures of those deer or even post them in then success forum for all of us to see we always like to see success pictures especially ones of deer killed with bow and arrow
  3. 75 grain muzzy, not that I'm biased or anything.
  4. You'll definately be in my prayers and may god see you and your family through these hard times.
  5. Other than me, who do you want to be like when you grow up?
  6. Why are you so well known as AF or DB?:D
  7. At 10 yards and 22-24 feet up, I'm hitting the middle green and watching him do the face slide within 50 yards.
  8. Kepping it simple , because Murphy's Law will always win: If it moves it will break. If a whisker breaks, I've got about 999 left to continue shooting. You guys only got one cord and one drop away. Ha:D
  9. All right, I'm behind just a bit on this arguement. 1. Kyle, if your getting wrinkled fletchings froma WB, then you don't know how to level/square a rest up. Or that Hardly On Your Target bow is out of tune. 2. Splits limbs only serve a purpuse of being able to see through your limbs at full draw on that deer as it is walking in for a shot. 3. Tubeless peeps ROCK! Tubes were made for tires-not bows.:D There now, I am caught up. Ha Ha Ha Ha ROSS, WB, and Tubeless rules
  10. You gotta love it my bowhunting brotha!
  11. The Droppa Doola. Missa a whole lotta Whitea taila! Dipsy Doola, Dropsie in the 86tha! Whiska Bisca, Masta Killa!
  12. Can't beat fresh meat and biscuit! LMBO
  13. Ha Ha Ha-Sensible Bowhunters. Now why would I want to add more weight, extra movible parts that have a chance of failing or breaking. I love Muzzy but wouldn't ever think of using a Zero Effect rest, looks like a slingblade to me and the shooter should be making a deep Aaahummm! LOL You must have posted right at the same time I did, I do know what a MZE is.:D The reason I'm flossing my arrows is to get all that deer meat off of it from a previous WB Death.
  14. I was wondering if those Leverevolution bullets could be shot through a pistol. I'll have to get some and load them up for my Super black Hawk.
  15. Aaaaaaaah, you are talking about that little thing called a flipper rest. Ha ha ha ha Maybe that just means FA rest aren't as well built as a WB since they are cheaper.
  16. We'll even take on the mechanical versus fixed blades.
  17. Huh? for the same price? Wake up Alice this isn't wonderland or maybe your are buying one (fall away) at a yardsale. That fletching contact is very minimal on the FPS affect and try holding an arrow onto your shelf in 30 mph winds or upside down or shooting sideways? Not seen that done with a fall-away. I'm ready, let's argue!:D:D:D:D:D
  18. It's a buck, should be a decent one in the fall.

    Keep going Hammer!
  20. Here in NC, I probably passed in the neighborhood of 20+ bucks, all within bow range. Made a bad shot on a 120 class 10 point, and couldn't get a shot off on a 140 class 9 point, these were in NC as well. In Ohio, I shot my buck on the first morning of my hunt and he came in at 110" and some change. Luckily I didn't have an opportunity at a larger one but I started Doe hunting after and changed up my tactics on hunting areas. I saw several smaller ones the rest of the week and had a very nice 8 point come by that my brother ended up killing the next day. Ever since my P&Y buck, I have set my standards to at least a 100" buck or nothing, hammer down on the Doe's though.
  21. I red sum wear thet Reil Trea haz sum one-der-fool peepul's own this cite!
  22. If your shooting around 260 or above, you shouldn't have a bit of a problem hitting the same spot. My bows are set up at 287 and will hit right were I want them. I fell into the ARC system range finders last season and bought a pair of the Nikon Archers Choice. I decided one day to just see what the difference was in the two and how ever did I make all the other seasons without the ARC and kill deer. There was only a 1 to 2 yards difference between the two and made now difference in where I hit. Ended up I just sold the Nikon's after only having them for a couple of months. If I really want to know the angle adjustment on a shot, range to something eye level from me in the treestand and let the low side drag on the shot! Your average bow shots are worth the worry about angle compensation.
  23. Pretty much any of the Scott Releases are good, I guess I'm partial to them since I own three of them.
