  1. Pretty disgusting how those ..... think(working on our taxes the past few days and better I don't call em what I am thinking right now). Chucky the liar and nutcase pelosi are not even happy to give 2 million illegals amnesty in a deal to move things forward. Remember here that nobama gave 800 THOUSAND plus illegals amnesty AND benefits that are not afforded to the taxpaying people who came here legally and also not given to natural born citizens. Where else on this planet can people come in illegally and get free health care, free phones, free college, and then have the nerve to complain about it and bash the country. All the while screwing over tens of millions of working class families who end up having to pay ridiculous money for insurance they cannot even use. Personally not a fan of Trump giving amnesty, but understand trying to work out a deal to right the wrongs from the prior admin. Sickening that voters will continue to keep those deadbeats in office, but then again with dead voters, illegals, and mickey mouse votes being allowed to count with no id whatsoever its no wonder.

    phil.....

55 grain tipped varmageddon handload. Only groundhog I have ever seen here, won't be seeing his shadow on groundhog day. Ready for spring.
  3. Should be a few decent bucks that made it through, yet to get pics of any of them post season here, may have to move some cams around. Last pic we got of the old busted up buck was the last week of season. Anyone getting pics of good ones they know made it yet?

    phil.....

Rat better not see his shadow this year
  5. If i was on Facebook would join but not on Facebook.
  6. Sorry to hear that Anthony, hope you heal up soon. Good luck to your daughter with the softball tournament Tim. Wife broke her foot Wednesday, so don't see her doing much over this weekend. I will probably try to pull a couple stands if it isn't raining.
  7. With all that went on with my mother over the summer and into September the crossbow was honestly not on my mind and I never did get it in. The gander store 30 miles from us did close even though it was not on the list of stores to be closed, glad I did not drop it off there. The options we have now are either a non chain shop authorized repair dealer about 45 miles from us, taking it to the bass pro at the pyramid in memphis an hour and a half away one way or sending it in to barnett. Kinda hate the idea of going to memphis, I just don't like memphis but my wife has been really wanting to see the pyramid, so dunno. Anywhere I take it I realize is gonna be two trips and probably be the cheapest route to just box it up and send it in to barnett. Missed out on a great deal at wally world, they had lifetime warranted wicked ridge crossbows at about half price, down to $199.
  8. Pretty sure this is your old profile https://forums.realtree.com/profile/122121-hunt-or-be-hunted/. Looks like you were using a yahoo email address for that one, if that email is still active we can set you a new pwd.
  9. Welcome back Jeremy. I can check into your old username and can reset the pwd for you.

    Let's debate

Tried zooming in on the screen on this phone and it is hard to say for sure but looks like decent mass. Kind of looks like maybe the antler on the far side might be lined up behind the near making it look heavier, maybe? Good sized rub to the right of him.
  11. That is pretty cool Dave. Never would have known they would be mostly nocturnal, most squirrels around here are right opposite. Thanks for sharing with us.
  12. Ran the stock tires on our 04 honda foreman until they needed replaced back this past fall. Put kenda bearclaws on it, they seem to do fine so far.
  13. Unless the vikes can tighten up and quit making stupid mistakes they are gonna give this game to the eagles. afc championship was a good game. Brady once again showed why he will probably hold a lot of records for a very long time. That said the pats defense really stepped up and without their great second half they would not have won.
  14. Military members checks being held, but you best danged well bet the dems holding up progress are drawing their checks. Hold pelosi and chucky's checks and you better believe they would resolve their differences. So much so wrong with all of this, and NO the media will not tell the full story. Last shutdown in 13 to the best of my recollection with obama those drawing ss and va benefits still got their checks, dunno about this time around. Wonder about the entitlements and how they are being effected by all this, gonna guess the handouts given to illegals still get funding but yeah chip funding for legal law abiding tax paying residents children is suspended?
  15. Usually use rem oil here. Doesn't take much, little on the rails wipe away any excess. Depending on which gun dictates where else you may use a drop here and there. In my experience the manuals that come with the guns often will show where to use oil and how much to use, I try to follow those suggestions as closely as possible.
  16. Odds and ends stuff around the house today after checking traps and putting hay out. Still a good bit of slop and ice around, hopefully will melt away tomorrow. Might try to get out and call for yotes tomorrow. Good to see you back Steve. Hope all is going well for you
  17. Still a mess here. Kids been out of school for a week now. Supposed to make mid 30's today then warm up a bit to the 50's and rain moving in. With all this slop still on the ground gonna guess there will be some flooding issues when the rain melts this away.

    Euro Mount

Looks good. Have a few i need to clean up here.
  19. Thanks Shaun. Still thinking I will eventually add a 700 cdl sf, probably in a .270 or .30 caliber. Might wanna give those eld's a try, sure they are offered in 7 mm. lol. Yeah it still works ok. Honestly that was the fastest and hardest I have ever seen a deer that I have shot drop, he buckeled under straight to the ground. No experience with the 6.5 cm's but had considered an upper chambered in that caliber. The girls have killed a few with my .243 handloads, but this was the first deer I have killed with my own handload. Kind of a rewarding feeling to work a load to where you like it and then take a deer with it.
  20. Thanks Shaun. Figured i would at least get some spark with the plug pulled the other day, but good advice to try the plug for sure. Was about 15 degrees yesterday when i went out and it started up and ran ok. Still puzzles me a bit that after messing around with the coil/wires it got spark.
  21. Need to wack some yotes and river rats. Have some traps out for beaver.
  22. Thanks Shaun. Yeah intermittent stuff can be a pain to pinpoint for sure. I may pull the intake manifold this spring and check the harness. As for now it has not thrown a code again.
  23. Flipped the tv over to the end of the vikings saints game after coming in from taking my 12 year old daughter for the last sit of the season. Just in time to see the saints take the lead and the game appear to be over. That last play "air tackle" looked kinda fake. How does a pro back miss that badly? Then they played it back multiple times from multiple angles. Anyway a fun end to watch.
  24. Snow doesn't bother me to drive on, it is those that don't know how to drive that bother me. Roads bad enough here no mail delivery Friday or Saturday. Our church services were even cancelled and most members live in town. Looking like we may get round 2 of the slop on Tuesday, don't see what we have now melting too much before then either.
  25. Bend too hard in the cold?
