Yep, those are the connectors, think one of them came off easy had to fight with the rest of them. Little white tab on one broke, was holding the tab part down with a screwdriver and pulling, broke the tab part off.

Red stag been one of those out of country hunts I might consider some day. Caribou was another. Nice to dream. lol.

Yep. Get a few brain farts here every now and then.

Once my wife and I get our kids grown, plan to do some travelling and hunting. Coues, blacktail, and want another mule deer hunt. Would like to take a big nt whitetail someday too, very rare in this area to see nt points so an away hunt maybe for whitetails. Would be cool to take a deer that makes the books someday even though I probably would never enter it, dunno that will ever happen. My antelope was probably b and c before the taxidermist boiled the horns off. Think an elk hunt may happen someday, maybe. Dunno that TN will ever allow killing of mountain lions, but they are here, would make a very cool mount but not a hunt I would pay for. Have a bobcat mounted.

Welcome to the forums. Usually posts from new members who appear to post for the sole purpose of promoting their own site or interest are deleted unless they have permission from the site administrator(Scott Hughes). Stick around and be a contributing member and share stories with us and post away and don't think anyone would complain. Far as the video, looked fine, only criticism I may add is a cutaway to the deer would have been nice to see to see what she was looking at before she shot.

Definitely do NOT have to remove the intake manifold cover. About a 45 minute job and the biggest reason it took so long was the stupid plastic white clips that I could not get loose in the cold with my big fingers and a little screwdriver. My detached garage has no heat. Ended up breaking one of the clips in the front and so was more careful with them after that and took a little more time. The boots easily slide past the manifold cover with a quarter turn. Plenty of room to get even my big hands in there and universals and an assortment of extensions definitely come in handy. Overall a much easier job than the 5.7 hemi in the durango. Would imagine a shop with all the specialty tools and good lighting this is a 20-25 minute job max. Aside from fighting with the plastic clips, my 6'2" height probably did not help me much. Don't guess there is a specific specialty tool for those plastic clips, or is there?

While he may be a great general, it would be a huge political mistake imo for Trump to replace Flynn with Petraeus given the known issues around him and given that Flynn was taken out as nothing more than a political hit job from the inside. How else did Flynn get recorded, and who on earth authorized taps on a US citizen? If this was done with Flynn, Petraeus would be a thorn in Trumps side. Surely Trump will make a better choice and his admin will start cleaning house of some of the leftovers from the clinton/obama loyals.

Thanks Shaun. 300 factory hp in that little car, yep its got some pep. With the 6 speed auto it gets 30 mpg on the highway too if we keep it under 77. Putting iridiums back in and upgrading to a k&n air filter. I looked at it closer today and does not look nearly as tight on space as the Durango. If the video i watched is right and those coil packs flex enough i could see where they could be worked out past the manifold. Probably change them tomorrow.

Think that is grass Tim.

Wife has piled a load of miles on our 2012 impala and it needs a tune up. I won't pay dealer or shop prices if it something i can do. From what i have been told the intake manifold has to come off to get the coil packs off 3 and 5, but found a post on an impala forum where one user went against what others had posted and said it was possible to get those coil packs out by twisting them a quarter turn then pulling them out with the manifold in place. So, curious what Shaun or Lynn or any other mechanics here that i can trust have to say.

If these were prostaff scopes, yes that would be a very good deal. Might give cabelas a call to see which scopes these are before buying one. Some on the reviews are saying these are the buckmaster 2 scopes which according to reviews are not so great.

Yep, this is very true. Not sure why that is exactly, the old gun counter manager at our local store told me a few years back that they lost all control they had at ordering, that stuff was sent to them. The store closest to us, about 15 minutes away in this small town of around ten thousand, has a much better selection usually than the store about 30 minutes to the south of us in a town of about 6 times the population. Check both. Another store about 25 minutes away usually does not have near the selection our local store has either.

Kinda tough to track em down here yet. Still hanging on to them, had a few more bucks as recent as 3 days ago still with antlers. Think we busted him out of his bed today checking that camera. Unfortunately a lot of water where he is hanging out and less than 50 yards from our property line, probably never find those antlers but will sure be looking.

I had pretty good luck seeing a good number of deer from one spot in a red oak, stand was hung on the west side of the tree and the tree is wider than my body. It is on a fence row and there is really not a lot back behind it, but some cover in front from some little trees, even late season when the leaves were off had does walk practically right under me oblivious that I was there. Anyway I mostly wore AP, thought I would stand out, but must not have. That was the stand I had two opportunities on the 9 point I ended up taking later on. One of those mornings was sunny and after 8 am, deer were clueless I was there. Think next year I may use some old Christmas tree branches in some other spots I want to hang stands where I don't have a lot of leaves. I maybe should have picked up one of the leafy bugsuits on clearance in my size at wally world in mo. They had a few in mo, but none my size in rt so I passed. The mo stuff looked kind of drab and dark, probably not much better than the old green army camo.

Exactly, and would be willing to bet the secret service detail expense is astronomical to entertain/protect these "kids" on the taxpayers backs.

Guess I may be somewhat of a pack rat when it comes to pics. I have kept waaay too many, transfer from sd cards and save resized copies on externals. Have several tens of thousands of pics from tc's saved on an ext hard drive and thumb drive. I really need to go through and do some thinning and deleting. Kind of cool to be able to go back and look at all the tc pics you have for one specific buck you end up killing.

Tax payer dollars at work...........?

Hardwoods might be a more effective pattern for that Joe or even advantage timber, dunno. Yeah the rt ap is kind of light, my fleece insulated stuff is a little light for the red oaks I have stands in, but still works fine as long as I am not moving around and have a little leaf clutter around to break me up. You guys lose leaves a lot earlier than we do. Some of the vertigo stuff from scent lok looks great.

Was still quite a bit of odds and end stuff here last week, a lot had not been marked down a second time. Scents, mineral attractants and a lot of clothes that would not fit me. lol. Almost picked up a leafy bug suit https://www.walmart.com/ip/Realtree-Men-s-Leafy-Bug-Suit/44782575 for $19, was on a marked large hanger but looked at the tags and saw it was a small /medium. Probably pick up some active scrape scent and deer cain next time I am in there if they still have any left, stuff was 25% off, should be 50% off very soon. Gonna look closer at broadheads too, muzzy 3 blade 100 grain 3 packs were down to $9, shoulda put em in my buggy. There were rage and several other mechanicals half price as well.

Bears have not really ever been a great interest of mine, but my oldest daughter still wants to kill one. Would sure be fun. One of these days maybe she and I will get to go on a bear hunt. Would have to be an otc diy hunt somewhere though. Good luck Frank with your plans and good luck Bob on drawing.

lol. Think there is some resemblance there Martin.

Here you go Ruth http://www.cabelas.com/product/NIKON-X-BDC-RIFLESCOPE/2431432.uts?productVariantId=5058732&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=04727310&rid=20&gclid=CPv7oZP_iNICFVY8gQodlmEICw&gclsrc=aw.ds. I may pick up another to hold onto for future use at that price. Sorry, but the scope in the link may not be a prostaff scope. Checked the questions and answers and not sure which model this actually is.

Have a nikon prostaff 3-9x40 with the bdc reticle on my cva, it is in the rt camo finish that matches my gun. Been very happy with it. Can catch deals on them now if you watch and keep your eyes open. Between ebay, wal mart and after season deals at cabelas and others you may run up on one around or under $125.

How many teams were there even in the nfl back then though and how many games did they play. Different times with free agency rules too. A lot to consider. How many division championships. Records of wins losses and overall qb ratings. Funny how opinions go. Last year commentators were calling Peyton Manning the greatest qb of all time, to which I personally never saw that. He just lacked that something seen in those with more winning records. My personal opinion always thought Joe Montana had been the greatest until Brady and while Brady does not have a perfect superbowl record I think he is right up there. Bradshaw also had a perfect superbowl record. Guess the remarkable thing about Brady getting 5 is that he has done it with a lot of different players. Don't think anyone can deny Gronkowski missing from the game left a void, other players stepped up. Says something to the person commanding the field to make adjustments and help let or make those players shine. jmo

These are not borealis or Dakota subspecies deer, so would not expect them to ever reach 350-400 lbs, just like a key deer are not gonna go over 200 lbs. Yes, Bergmann's rule, the further north the heavier the animals will typically be, makes sense since it is colder further north and more reserves will help an animal through that cold in the winter. Gonna guess the first scorer(the Captain from the Tennessee wildlife resource agency) who aged the deer probably nailed the age at 4.5, he was only an eighth off the officials score so he must know something about deer. Still have to wonder about my wife's comment on this especially with all the discussion of "franken foods". What kind of fertilizers and pest/herbicides were they using that got into the drain this deer was living in? Could there have been some sort of freak mutation similar to cancer as a result causing the deer to have so many irregular points. Maybe not so far fetched?
