  1. Cooied the line in your image and looked in a new tab. Copied the picture and pasted it here. Had to upload, but can see it here now.
  2. Can't see the pics, but sounds like a great time. Congratulations Don.
  3. Thanks Joe. Hope everyone had a good Easter. Oldest daughter brought our granddaughter to visit, was a good day.

    This and that

Could not agree more. Sad reality of what society is becoming. Society of participation trophies, the look at me mindset, and entitlements. Usually have a few a year end up on our property. No telling where they come from.
  5. Yes sir, very aware. I am still doing my stay away from people. I figured the j and j was my best option. Strongly suggested that I be vaccinated before my surgery in May. Biggest factor for me in deciding to get it was on the likelihood it would lessen potential damage caused by covid. Primary care doc, cardiologist, wife, and a cardiology pa all strongly encouraged me getting a vaccine. They are far more educated on this stuff than I am.
  6. I was a hard NO on taking the vaccine. MY decision had absolutely nothing to do with anything the government said. I was strongly encouraged to get vaccinated by primary care dr, wife and my cardiologist. After much of my own research and seeing how Catrina got sick and had some issues with her blood pressure with the second dose of moderna I was still on the fence, I said I would only get the johnson and johnson vaccine. I was eligible to get the vaccine beginning of this month. Found where the johnson and johnson vaccine was available, called and made an appointment and got it. Had flulike symptoms for about a day or so and sore shoulder for nearly a week. The johnson and johnson vaccine is similar to the flu shot, it does NOT use mrna. I know I can still get covid, but chances of serious illness or death from covid with the vaccine is near zero. A requirement for vanderbilt before admission for my upcoming repairs is to be tested again, or be vaccinated. President Trump has on more than one occasion called on all Americans to get vaccinated.
  7. Wife is working, so me and the kids. May load up some rounds. May ring steel targets. Dunno though, nothing planned. Really i need to be getting a lot of work done around here before late May, but it is so wet and rotten here right now.
  8. Sounded like you might have been a little winded after the "bushwhacking" to get back to the trail Frank. Looks like a pretty place. Hope Catrina and I get to do some stuff like this after the kids are all grown.
  9. That's cool Shaun. Looked like your pup got a good workout. We had about 8 inches here in the 2021 TN blizzard, our pup loved it.
  10. Good luck with it Lewis.
  11. Love biscuits and gravy, but trying to stay with reasonably healthy diet. I do eat deer backstraps lightly breaded fried in canola oil with white peppered gravy that is made without any drippings or grease.
  12. Sad to hear. His voice will certainly be missed.
  13. Welcome to the forums. Congratulations on a real nice buck.
  14. A month later, and several trail cam pics of coyotes later, this little guy was still around on Jan 21st. Had several pics of him on one camera, so looks like letting him go was probably a good call.
  15. What kind of barrel life do you get out of a setup like this?
  16. About double the powder capacity? Right now with components tough to find I am really liking the max loads around 42 gr imr 4350 in a couple of loads.
  17. A shame it has become what it has. Another forum I am on is wide open, much like it used to be here. Honestly from all I am hearing about facebook if that was really the issue this place would be jumping again. Keep hearing about facebook stepping on more and more, latest censoring gun ads?
  18. Burris are good value for their price point for sure. Just function tested a new upper today with a wilson combat barrel. Have a burris 5-25x50 signature hd on it. Think I am gonna like the signature hd.
  19. No doubt. Gunbroker prices on primers are insane.
  20. All the small rifle primers I find in stock are either in Canada or on gunbroker for auction @10 times or more what the normal price should be. Real shame things are heading the direction they are here. What kind of optics you going with? Should be able to stretch on out a ways.
  21. Nice looking rifle Shaun. No experience with any westerns. You already have dies and components? Hard to come by anything in these parts, and suspect it is only gonna get worse.
  22. Read a couple different articles about that Dr. Would seem really unusual that this problem arose as total coincidence right after he got the vaccine. Catrina gets her vaccine tomorrow, she said it will be the moderna.
  23. That is interesting. Had not heard about that yet. Did he have any underlying issues or on any meds that could have interacted? It was the pfizer vaccine, and he was hospitalized within just 3 days of taking the vaccine https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/miami-beach/article248337525.html.
