  1. Yeah. He might declare marshal law pretty soon so he can disarm us.
  2. Only got to gun hunt this year. Took 2 does opening morning before 7:30. It was cold and windy most of the season. Had one wall hanger stop on the other side of a road, so I couldn't get him. Our group got 13 deer.
  3. Yeah, I've been real close to doing that a few times...lol. Dawg
  4. Nope. I get a case of road rage now and then, and would not be a good candidate for concealed carry. Dawg
  5. Ooh Rah. I've had so much going on that I plum forgot! Semper Fi to all Marines. Also, be sure to thank all vets tomorrow. Thank you all in advance from an old Devil Dog. Dawg
  6. Thanks for the kind words, old friends. Steve B.....you were married 10 years less than I have been on this earth. Time gives you alot of time to reflect on things. Good times, bad times, they all blend together to just plain boggle your mind. I am also truly sorry to hear about your loss. Some day we'll all meet again, in a much better place. Hang in there man, and I will too. Dawg
  7. Hello everyone. I haven't been in here for awhile. My wife died on August 27, and I'm still in a daze. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of June. She had found a lump a few months earlier, but was afraid to tell me. By the time we finally got her in to see someone, it had spread throughout her brain, and her whole body. Now, I have lost my companion, and it's been a tough time for me. I still can't believe she's gone, and with no warning. I guess I can finally talk about it now. We would have celebrated our 27th anniversary on the 13th of October. Yes, we had some big fights; but it always got worked out. I know life goes on, but I miss her terribly. Enough babbling for now. I hope everyone is having a great bow season. I might get out 2 weekends from now with my crossbow. Good luck to all. Dawg
  8. Over the hill....I mean over 9...:cowboy:
  9. My seasons all went south on me, and I wasn't able to take a deer this year. I didn't get any shots during the T-zone hunt. Regular gun season wasn't much better. I must be getting old, because I missed a half rack buck at about 20 yards that had stopped to take a standing broadside pause! Still can't fathom what happened on that one.
  10. How's it going Steve? I sent you a pm! I've got one here it's a Bushnell Yardage Pro Compact 600. Dawg
  11. Congrats to Elnore and Slash! Good eating for you guys. I had a bone spur removed in my left ankle on Monday, and I just finally got enough strength up to get in here. I haven't been outside since Monday afternoon, and I am more than bored with doing absolutely nothing! It's good to see that everyone else is getting out hunting when they can. I should be able to hunt the T-Zone starting October 14. And believe me, I am looking forward to getting out there! Dawg
  12. Hi guys. I'll just be shotgun hunting again this year. They are claiming that 63A will have an October T-zone again. If not, I won't get out until the November gun hunt. Take care. Dawg :gun2:
  13. congrats on the 10th year ann. Mine's coming up too. Time sure flies when you're having fun!:fish: Dawg
