CDC, Atlanta, Georgia--- The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has released results from recent tests that have found a “new strain” of the dreaded West Nile Virus.
Cases have popped up in numerous states across the nation. Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont to name a few. The common denominator of the “new strain” seems to be hunting related. All confirmed cases were reported to be outdoorsman of some type.
As with the original West Nile Virus, symptoms vary. Some patients have complained of increased irritability, followed by loss of temper, and irrational behavior.
A large number of cases have been reported to belong to the Realtree.com Online Forums.
Scott Hughes, administrator of the forums, was recently quoted as saying, “This may be news to the CDC, but at Realtree.com, this is normal for this time of year. With most hunting seasons over, our members always get a little edgy. I just hope that now that we have identified the disease, maybe we can find a cure.”
The CDC as released instructions for anyone who believes that they may have contacted this disease:
1. Take deep breaths.
2. Do not attempt to engage in any form of intelligent debate.
3. And most importantly, THINK before typing. [/i]
