Re: Oklahoma Bowhunting Camp RSVP Come on YB15...you can pull something off. Who's gonna get us talking without you there. I can see us sitting around the campfire right now.... (Silence) Dale--"Sure was hot today" Group--"Yeah" (Silence) Me--"Boy, sure is a clear night." Group---"Yeah" (Silence) Me---"Yep, yep, yep....(yawn)"as I break out the Coors Light. Would you do that to us Kyle???? You know them deer can smell beer breath a mile away......ultimately, you'll be the reason we don't kill a deer. Can you live with that??? Of course you can't....

Re: Oklahoma Bowhunting Camp RSVP Yeah, we've got Diebold, Ryan. The only two I know are Mike and Randy. I believe they come out of Texarkana. They have maintenance on our shuttles, ATM's, and Vaults. Well, guys, found out this evening that my kinfolk are camping up north of where we are planning on being. Also, talked to a friend of mine down here and he's gonna be camped up there also. Promised I'd visit him Saturday afternoon. Sure wish more would come. I'm currently trying to talk one of my bowhunting buddies to come up with me. He owns his own gravel business, so if it rains much more this week, he'll probably be free. Getting pumped boys.

Re: Oklahoma Bowhunting Camp RSVP TTT. For everyone that is going, remember there is a $16 resident permit for hunting on Three Rivers.($25 non-resident) I was telling Ryan that I had wrangled a map of where we're going to be and there are literally miles of good hunting ground. A couple of employees here at the bank know the land better than I do and they've been nice enough to give me some directions to some awesome spots. Not sure whether I'm gonna share or not...

Allright....who's coming and when?? I'll be at the Broken Bow Wal-mart around noon Friday.

Re: i\'ll never understand!!! Sounds like you've grown up and he hasn't. I can see him getting upset, but not acting so childish. I'd e-mail him again before calling his mom. Give him a chance to cool down and maybe he'll be able to cope with it. If not, pay off the debt and let him keep the ball in his court.

Re: Oklahoma Get Together??? Congrats RK. That means extra backstrap for the camp!

Re: Official Invite...First Annual Oklahoma Deer Camp! stillhunter....Non-resident archery is $201! Oklahoma has a a 5-day license but it doesn't cover deer. YB15....we'll think about you when we're skinning our deer...eating Dale's archery backstrap...talking about you....watching the strippers I hired....Oops!! That was supposed to be a surprise.

Re: Bedlam Baby!!!!!!! I'm dang proud of 'em. After the first half, I was envisioning a 52-14 final, but the Pokes stuck around. The Pokes deserve their Top 20 ranking and hopefully they'll keep it. I smell a bowl win this year boys!! You know, when I was in school, I hated OU. But now my state pride has taking over. Hopefully, this game will wake the Sooners up. Next week is gonna be a test. Our boys have got a tough one next week. Needless to say....Go Pokes!!

Re: Official Invite...First Annual Oklahoma Deer Camp! A week from today....the meeting spot is less than 30 minutes from the Texas line.

Re: Amy\'s first Buck Contact your local game warden or ranger. Their numbers are usually in your state's regulations book. Our game warden is an official scorer. Yours may not be but will more than likely know of one. You do know that the score is not official until after a 60 day drying period?

I told him that beer just doesn't "appear" in the woods.....but NO he had to pop a top!

Re: Oklahoma Get Together??? Ryan….I think this will be your quickest route….From Muskogee, go towards I-40 East. Take Sallisaw/Poteau exit. Stay on US 59 towards Poteau. On the outskirts of Poteau, you’ll need to take a left. Just follow US 59 signs. About 10 miles outside of Heavener there will be turn to your right onto Hwy 259. After you get on 259 it’s a straight shot to Broken Bow. At the second light in Broken Bow(by McCurtain County National Bank) take a left. Go until you pass The Wagon Wheel nightclub on the right. Then you’ll take the first left….it should be 20,000 road or Union Valley Road. Then follow the yellow paper plates….

Re: Bedlam Baby!!!!!!! Diehard OSU fan here. Graduated from there in '91 and if there's one thing I've learned over the years, its that we win when noone gives us a chance. When we come into Bedlam ranked, with a good chance of winning..........we get stomped. I hope I'm wrong...but we'll see.

Everyone is welcome. Residents, Non-residents. If you can afford the tag, we can put up with you at camp. Lots of acreage to hunt. We'll be 14 miles into the woods. Heck, you don't even have to hunt. PM me, or post here if you're interested. BTW....Nightly Temps are supposed to be in the low 40's(Day-70's) with little or no chance of rain

Re: Oklahoma Get Together??? Ryan, you're actually coming down the middle of Three Rivers. You will be on the West side of our camp, though. I'm bringing a latern, sleeping bag, misc. food and beverages, and maybe a small camper. If we need something we can always drive to the store. Will only take 20 minutes. Dale and I are going to meet up around noon on Friday. If anyone else wants to meet up with us, PM me.

Re: MISUNDERSTANDING ON \"ABSOLUTE HOG I STUCK\" I'm REALLY not going to criticize your shot selection or jump you, either.........and I won't. One thing you have to watch out for on this site is that you're gonna get people's opinions...good or bad. I swear, sometimes I feel like if you were to post about wiping your butt with 10 sheets of toilet paper, someone would criticize you for destroying the environment!! You live and learn around here.

Re: Oklahoma Get Together??? All right guys, I think I've found a campsite. I talked with my uncle yesterday and he recommended the old corral. It's probably the easiest to get to, too. After you turn onto Union Valley Road, BTW the road number is 20,000. Just keep going straight. Griz, that "Y" I told you to look for, take a right going up the mountain instead of left down the mountain. You'll cross a decent sized creek and we will camp right there unless there's already a camp set up. Most camps are gone by this Sunday so we should be OK. I think Griz is going up Thursday. If possible I might drive up there with him but I've got to be back at work to make sure our installation is working Friday morning. I should be able to take off at noon to head up there. If anyone wants to meet me in Broken Bow, give me a holler.

Re: First hunt You think you're hooked now...wait until you harvest one.....whew!! Ain't no looking back. It's like they say....Once you go bow....that's all you know.
