  1. Hey guys, It's been a long time since I've posted here. I guess I just needed an Internet break!! At any rate, I hope you all have had an amazing deer season and shed hunting season!! Tominator, ruttinbuc, and everyone I haven't gotten a chance to talk to in what seems like forever, I hope all is great!!!! -Jody Hadachek
  2. Those are some nice antlers, thanks for sharing the pictures with us!
  3. Well I just put on my winter clothes and the tape measure stretched to 43" around my torso. I'm guessing the S/M model is the way to go??
  4. Hey everyone, I'm planning on buying a new HSS Pro Series safety vest soon. I've checked on other brands, like the Muddy and several others, but I keep coming back to the HSS vest. My big question is, for those that have experience with these vests is ..... what size do I buy?? I'm 5'9"/160 soaking wet - but I need the vest to fit in early season with lighter clothes and also during those cold November days when I'm wearing my insulated pullover and bibs. The sizes range from a S/M (100-175 lbs 32-44" torso) on up to the L/XL (175-250 lbs 42-56" torso). I don't want to swim in it, either! Thanks for any advice you can give me!!
  5. You simply can't go wrong with a Hoyt. Awesome, awesome bows! Congrats!

    String Loops

String loops are definitetly the way to go, IMO. Have used them for years.
  7. Another vote for the Alpine. Fantastic quiver.
  8. I've shot both of them. They're both great arrows, you can't go wrong with either one. I'm shooting Easton Axis Nano's right now and love them.
  9. Congrats on some great shed successes, guys and gals!!!
  10. Hey everyone, Joey Rott and the Rut Junkie gang have an awesome video that's only $15 to your door!!! Paypal only. Post here or PM me. Rut Junkie's "All Racked Up" DVD, released in Sept. 2008 contains mostly archery hunts. All Fairchase and 100% DIY. Incredible Big Buck footage, strong storylines...a different type of video that the mainstream. 2 Hrs long. DVD Trailer http://www.rutjunkie.com/downloads/ Reviews Todd from ND - I have to say that I never seen a hunting video with so much originality, I felt like it was me out their hunting with everyone. The emotion on your faces felt so real that I found myself thinking of great memories of my hunting days. I think my favorite piece was the story of the sheds, to see that kind of passion is really amazing. Well, great work guys and look forward to seeing more action from rut junkies. Brady from KS - I have seen countless hours of hunting shows in my lifetime, but All Racked Up blew me away. My heart raced during each hunt as if I was the one hunting in the stand. I even learned new ideas on hunting that I hadn't tried before. Watching these hunts made me get my bow out and start practicing for the up coming season. It's not hard to see the burning passion that each hunter has on the DVD. We should all inspire to have the same level of passion that they have. Darin from NC - Finally got to watch mine last night and all I can say is WOW! I give it an official rating of two thumbs up. The true raw emotion is great plus it gives a feel of more "common" hunters as soposed to some of the big name production groups now. Great job everyone! Justin from WI - Finally, a DVD that the common hunter can relate to. My favorite aspect of the video is that it's easy to relate to these hunters and their DIY hunting of not using guides or outfitters. And much of the footage was just incredible! It was definately a different type of hunting video, which is exactly what this industry needed. I'm a Rut Junkie for life! __________________

  12. Good deal, Turkeygirl! Now you need about a thousand more to go in there!!
  13. Hey everyone, I was lucky enough to harvest this buck on Monday, October 27th 2008 on a quick after-work hunt. I saw this deer for the first time during October, 2003 as a yearling. I saw him again at age 2, and then found one of his sheds at age 3. He disappeared for a couple years, and then showed up Monday night on his favorite trail. He came out of nowhere, I couldn't believe he walked out. The 6-year old bruiser offered me a great 18-yard shot and I made good on it. I'm really happy to have my tag around this deer, after all the history we've shared together. There's no trick photography with his size, he's the biggest bodied deer I've ever shot.
  14. Hey everyone, It's been a long road to get here, and I'm proud to announch Rut Junkie's debut DVD, "All Racked Up" is now available for purchase!! When I asked Joey Rott to join me and create a video that shows what deer hunting is truly all about to the everyday, average hunter, we ultimately came up with this vision, this DVD. It features some great hunts, and one of the biggest wild nontypical whitetails ever captured on camera. Plus, it's a Realtree-endorsed product!!! I hope you enjoy this DVD - if you just truly love to deer hunt, this is the video you've been waiting for!! You can order it by clicking here: http://www.rutjunkie.com/downloads
