Re: Kenseth dumps McMurray [ QUOTE ] Kenseth dumped McMurray because McMurray doesn't have any talent and should have been out of the great one's way. [/ QUOTE ]

Is Kenseth becoming a new Robby Gordon???? Kenseth apologizes for spinning out McMurray No. 42 Dodge slams wall after 'pretty deliberate' whack on Lap 27 By Marty Smith, NASCAR.COM July 17, 2005 08:57 PM EDT (00:57 GMT) LOUDON, N.H. -- Jamie McMurray on Sunday questioned whether contact with Matt Kenseth on Lap 27 of the New England 300 was intentional on Kenseth's part. "I just basically ran him over," Kenseth said. "It was all my fault." Kenseth's honesty is appreciated but offers little solace for McMurray, who as a result of the incident dropped from eighth to 11th in the point standings. "I pretty much got taken out," McMurray said. "I had him cleared on both deals. When you wreck somebody right there, there's really no excuse for it." The accident began when, according to Kenseth, McMurray ran over the front fender of the No. 17 Ford. Frustrated, Kenseth refused to give McMurray ample room to safely make the pass. The two made contact, sending McMurray's Dodge hard into the Turn 3 wall on the driver's side. The left side of McMurray's car was destroyed, and while he escaped uninjured he did admit the accident was painful. "Matt must have been mad about something earlier in the year. I'm not sure," McMurray said. "He raced me really hard and I finally got up underneath him, and had him cleared and slid up. But where he wrecked me, it was pretty deliberate. I couldn't even save it. It's unfortunate. "It's 30 laps into the race. Usually you let guys go, then. He raced me really hard. My car was quite a bit better. I was just trying to be careful so I didn't get loose up underneath him and wreck him. But as it turned out, maybe I should have." In retrospect, Kenseth was remorseful. He went on to finish 10th in the New England 300. "I was racing him hard and I was giving him a lot of room," Kenseth said. "He ran over my left front off the corner and we were real close getting into Turn 3. I was just too close to him. I knew I was too close. "I was a little mad he ran over my fender there so I was staying close to him. Just my fault. I misjudged it and just plain ran him over. I feel bad about that. "You never want to wreck anybody, and never want to see anybody hit the wall with the chance of getting hurt. I feel really bad about that and it was 100 percent my fault." McMurray's bid for the Chase for the Nextel Cup took a considerable hit. He lost three positions in the standings, and lost 81 points to leader Jimmie Johnson. McMurray entered the event 358 points out of first and ventures home 439 points behind. "I just kind of got dumped," McMurray said. "It was pretty deliberate."

DEI and Waltrip Split -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RacingOne Report Posted Friday, July 15, 2005 Where Will Waltrip Go? Waltrip is looking for a ride in 2006. Michael Waltrip Hat Blue NAPA Your Price: $9.95 Dale Earnhardt Incorporated (DEI) and Michael Waltrip announced Friday they will no longer be together beginning in 2006. The DEI No. 15 NAPA Chevrolet has been driven by Michael Waltrip, a fan-favorite, in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series for the past five seasons where he earned four victories; including two Daytona 500 wins in 2001 and 2003. "All of us at DEI want to thank Michael for all his contributions to our organization and wish him well as he moves on in his career," said Richie Gilmore, DEI's Vice President of Motorsports. "Dale and Teresa gave me an opportunity with a winning organization that I have been proud to be an integral part of for the last five years," Waltrip said. "My professional relationship with DEI is ending, but my personal relationships have ties that are deep-rooted. Therefore, my decision to leave DEI is a difficult one. Our individual visions for the future are taking different courses, but our goals are the same-to be successful in the premier division of NASCAR." Gilmore added, "DEI's NASCAR NEXTEL Cup focus for 2006 will be to sharpen every entity of our race teams by preparing the No. 1 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet, driven by Martin Truex Jr., and the No. 8 Budweiser Chevrolet driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr., for the championship. Additionally, we are working diligently with our current partner, NAPA, on returning to the No. 15 car."

Re: I\'ve been a nerves wreck here lately.... Our thoughts and prayers are with you & your mom. My mom had a triple by-pass a few years ago and while they pretty much have the procedure down to an everyday occurance, when it happens to a loved one it is a very critical undertaking. My mom is doing great, as I am sure yours will be also.

Re: Ebay is so funny! The past few weeks I have been selling information that I downloaded off of the internet and printed for $5 plus postage. I have sold over 40 of these without a single complaint. It is amazing what people will buy.

Re: ATV\'s Honda's are good as long as you don't have to stop in a hurry. Their brakes leave a little to be desired. The best thing to do is take some time, go to the different dealers and test ride the machines and then decide on the one that you like the best. Asking on here is real similar to asking CHEVY or ford. You will get a lot of opinion with a little bit of fact mixed in. By the way, BUY KAWASAKI

The couple had been debating the purchase of a new auto for weeks. He wanted a new truck. She wanted a fast little sports-like car so she could zip through traffic around town. He would probably have settled on any beat up old truck, but everything she seemed to like was way out of their price range. "Look !" she said. "I want something that goes from 0 to 200 in 4 seconds or less. And my birthday is coming up You could surprise me." For her birthday, he bought her a brand new bathroom scale. Services are pending!

Halfway through who do you pick?
texastrophies replied to IowaDeerHunter's topic in NASCAR and Sports
Re: Halfway through who do you pick? Ok here is my finishing order: 1. Mark Martin 2. Rusty Wallace 3. Tony Stewart 4. Jimmie Johnson 5. Greg Biffle 6. Elliott Sadler 7 Ryan Newman 8 Carl Edwards 9 Jeremy Mayfield 10 Dale Jarrett I buy into RTF's big plan , and what better way than to have Mark Martin and Rusty to fight out for the championship in their last year with Mark prevailing to get his championship before he retires. And as much as it pains me to say this, I don't see Jr. making it into the C4C, or Gordon for that matter. -
Re: Jr. Wins, Finally [ QUOTE ] DEI IS TRASH and thats why junior has NO FUTURE in the sport until he quits being a stuck up, selfish peice of trash and gets some good drivers around him. The way it looks now, that wont be for a long time. I wish Jimmy Spencer would slap him around a little, hopefully knock some sense into that head of his. Here comes louden, that means junior will drop in the standings. i look forward to hearing from you all. haha. GO 17 [/ QUOTE ] Before you started running your mouth you might want to check the standings. Dale Jr. is ahead of your Matt Kenseth. Here are the standings in case you can't find them. 13 +3 Dale Earnhardt Jr. 2057 -491 18 0 1 5 7 $3,405,650 14 -- Kevin Harvick 2052 -496 18 1 1 3 5 $2,665,860 15 -2 Jeff Gordon 2046 -502 18 2 3 5 7 $4,293,020 16 +3 Matt Kenseth 1970 -578 18 0 0 2 5 $2,706,050

Re: Jr. Wins, Finally Wow, I guess that means Mark Martin has no skill either. And until a couple of years ago, I guess Jack Roush had no skill as an owner. Oh well.
