  1. If you have a video editing program you can change the file type and/or reduce the quality to make it smaller. I change avi video to windows media and it will drastically reduce the size. Depends on what file format your phone shoots in. I use a combination of free programs and windows movie maker to get it done. One converts the video to a new file type (my camera files are not compatible with Movie maker) and movie maker edits (if needed) and will save a lower quality compressed file type.
  2. I've been seeing little ones for a couple weeks now. Saw two with 12 the other day, never seen that many with one pair before.
  3. The 30th Blue book of gun values lists the 700BDL Custom Deluxe (only BDL model I could find with stainless bbl and 60's manufacturing date) at : 100%- $740 98%- $575 95%- $450 90%- $350 80%- $300 Add $27 for 7mm Rem Mag caliber. Add 15% for stainless steel barrel. SS barrel model was manufactured from 1962 until 1970. Should be 24" long
  4. Hard to tell from the pics. A white spot on the bottom tip of the tail is a walleye, small dark spots (really show up on the dorsal fin) is a sauger, saugeye is also possible.
  5. My brother got a verizon fivespot for Christmas and it works pretty good. I took it to Arkansas and it worked even with low signal strength. The only negative is the usage limit. If it was unlimited I would have it in my house instead of DSL.
  6. I've heard good things in the past about the browning, but have never seen one. I have a savage 12 ga bolt gun and it shoots lights out. The non detachable mag is the only real drawback. The new savage 20 ga bolt gun is supposed to be even better, but I have not gotten my hands on one yet. For half the money I would probably go with one of the savages.
  7. We were in the Stuttgart area. Four of us went from Iowa and we hunted with a few locals at times as well. Total for everyone who went with us was around 45 mallards, 2 Canadas, and a few snow geese. This was my third trip in the last 4 or 5 years and was by far our best.
  8. I just got back from Arkansas duck hunting. There was not much water, but ducks were stacked where there was water.
  9. I have two brothers with Savage's (I load tested and sighted both in) and we have been pleased with them. They are done producing them though. The sales were not the best, although they didn't do a very good job getting the word out about them. I am sorry to see them go, it is down to a few custom outlets for smokeless muzzleloading now.
  10. I thought 160 when he was shot on the video, but he is a lot bigger when you get up next to him and see all the junk on the rack. As a main frame 10 he would gross 160 or better not counting 9 extra points with some of them being pretty long. Not sure about the 199 but he is well past 160 I would say. Either way it is a great deer.
  11. Party hunting is allowed in the November Antlerless-only, Shotgun 1, Shotgun 2 and the January Antlerless-only seasons. In muzzleloader and archery seasons party hunting is not allowed. Some types of doe tags are county or zone specific so make sure you buy one legal for the area you plan on being in. As stated before, if you want to use someone else's tag they must be hunting with you, not sitting at home waiting for your call. They must also be willing to put their tag on your deer, you will want to make sure of this before you shoot one. It can be a problem if you shoot a deer and the other guy doesn't want to use his tag for your deer.
  12. There has been lots of news about top researchers that have been manipulating data to make it look like global warming was happening. This is just one of many stories on this story. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/feb/16/pruden-the-red-hot-scam-begins-to-unravel/ Search the archives at the drudge report for lots more info. Global temps rise and fall, there is no evidence that man is causing it. If there was they wouldn't have to make it up.
  13. HK mags are spendy with msrp being over $100 on some. $80 is probably correct. Gunbroker has had a few sell for $60 each and some bid up to $50 each that didn't meet reserve. I'll give you a lot less if it makes you feel better!:gunsmilie:
