Tk2000
THe stock is straight---no thumb hole. The gun can be shot left handed but the safety is on the right side. I just tried it left handed. The safety is by the bolt so it's easy to reach. I can take a picture if you want to see the location.
Knight NWTF TK2000 12g muzzle loading shotgun. Mossy Oak finish. Gun has minor wear on the end of the choke tube and a small mark in the finish from taking it in and out of the safe. Mark in finish was covered with black marker and is not noticeable. Picture of mark and choke tube wear attached. Gun was NWTF gun of the year. $325 tyd. I have no feedback in the classifieds but please check Archery Talk under HoytWV for my positive feedback.
cam
I used Gameplan gears BVR camera last year. Just like any other camera you need good light. They have a video on their web site of a bear kill----it will give you some idea of the quality. I filmed several deer with mine----shoot a lighted nock---it makes a big differance
sling
Check out the sling from gameplangear.com It clips to the bow and carries your sights in the upward position. I think it sells for about $15-----I like mine and it's quick on and off
full moon
been to ontario several times bear hunting and have always saw bears------------except 1 trip--------full moon that week. It may not have had anything to do with it but the moon really affects deer movement.
6 ft All Star BCH IM6 graphite and Berkley Lightning Rod 7'6" flipping stick. Both rods are like new condition and used very little. Both rods have some very minor hook scratches around the guides otherwise are in ex cond. $75.00 tyd gets both rods. I have not sold on this site before but you may check my feedback on Archery Talk under HoytWV
G5
Have shot animals with every head they make with no complaints! Used the new striker mag this past spring on turkeys and arrowed 2 hogs last year with the tekan----blades and head stayed together after passing through the hogs shoulder.
G5
My boy and I shot 4 gobblers this spring with the Mag Striker. G5 1st advertised them as a short range head. We did a little tuning and had perfect flight to 50 yds----they leave a huge hole in a turkey!!!!!!!! If you like the regular strikers try the Mag's----you will not be dissapointed
Tekan
I've arrowed deer, hogs and turkeys with the Tekan and have had nothing but good results and good blood trails. I shot thru a hogs shoulder last year with very little blade damage. I can't wait to try the new ones.
