I was going to go shoot my next 2 scores today but the weather kept me at home. I do have a new stabilizer set-up on the way. DCA 8" front and 6" side set-up for my 3D bow. I need to join IBO so I can go to a qualifier shoot hopefully. Sometime after the 3D league I'll send my bow in for new strings, I noticed the serving on the string is getting worn by the bottom cam.

I have a TC Omega Z5. I load 2 Triple 7 pellets with a 250 gr Shockwave. I've only shot/patterned this gun out to between 60 and 70 yards and it drives tacks. I will say I find it takes some force to drive the bullet down to the pellets, but I've never not been able to and I'm still able to load rounds after.

Haven't tried them. I have shot Beman and Gold Tip. My current arrows for hunting and 3D are all Gold Tip.

Thanks guys. I'll be looking forward to next goose season! I do have a flag and yes I did keep the legs/thighs. I love the taste of goose breast, we just sauteed some thin slices, yum, then we also seared a breast and cut it, delicious! Would like to get a banded bird some day!

Well started shooting at my indoor 3D league 2 weeks ago. Goes for about 12 weeks, I usually shoot 2 rounds when I go. Shot 135 then 150, not bad for not being able to get out and practice. Will go back to shoot another 2 end of this week. Anyone else start in a league?

That's what I did XT...took the breasts and legs....breast meat is delicious! They are darn easy to take the breast off....wish squirrels were that easy to clean,lol

Have not done alot of goose hunting, still a newbie but went out this weekend with my dad and a neighbor. Neighbor is brand new to it, I ended up being the primary caller. We had a little over 50 decoys between the 3 of us. Se up in a cut cornfield to catch them flying off a lake to feed. Lots of geese in the distance, managed to call in a group of 4...we all missed. Then called in a group and the neighbor and I each took one....it's an awesome feeling to nock a goose out of the sky! Then we had a big flock coming in, but they saw something they didn't like and went back up. This AM went out again, we set up same field. Little bit slower....few came in to look but they either new where they were going or didn't like something. Laying in my blind and I look to the left to catch a pair coasting in to our set-up, I'm on the left so I'm like "got 2 coming in!" They come in, go back up, circle, I honk, they come back in and land, neighbor gives the go and we pop up, neighbor and I each took one, my dad got tangled up in his white sheet, lol....we had snow on the ground so use white sheets for cover. Such a fun weekend, fun to see the neighbor have success.

Wasn't able to get a deer with ML so my deer season is over! Congrats team on job well done! Waiting to see if we keep our lead :-p
