I used to have a G5 but with the blue seemed to have alot of glare. Went to a black 3/16" RAD I think it is on both my bows.

Guess I might be the one person who disagrees....not that I don't think it's great she's a female out hunting, I just disagree with that type of hunting...elephants and what not are already endangered...to me African hunting is like shooting your horse (zebra) or your cat (leopard/lion)...she's probably not going to eat the meat, she's probably doing it for the trophy status...I feel bad for the rap she's getting from the antis but I think it;s expected for what she's doing...It might be on her bucket list but not mine. To each their own.

Anyone shoot with one? Thinking of putting a side bar stab. on my 3D bow...looking at the Dead Center Archery, maybe 8" front, 6" side....play with the weight. This will be after I send it out for tuning and new strings.

How do you protect the antlers if you bury it?

Glad I don't rely on antlers to make me happy. I like what Rhino said...maybe your deer were just run down from the winter. We've had quite a bit of rain here but I'm getting some small bucks on trail cam on my property...the older deer don't seem to show up until later here. And they are al in their groups anyhow.

Yeah bow is 1 year old...I was shooting great up until a few days before the shoot, noticed my arrows weren't grouping right, thought it was me. At the R100...it was bad I thought it was me. Finally last 1/2 of course I noticed the serving on top string/cable is worn and frayed, almost squared on the sides...a little bit on bottom cam string serving as well but not like on top and bow making alot of vibration in hand...something is wrong. I think I'll send it out to the guy I sent my other bow to for new strings and tuning.

Whats everyone got planned for this summer? I'm finishing up a 5 wk. nutrition class this week towards my BSN degree. Then just work as usual, Advanced Burn Life Support class in August, vacation in September. Trying to get trail cams out, and maybe some fishing in between.

To each their own.....There are very few shows I do watch though...alot are just too "overwhelming".

Well I shot the R100 this weekend...not good shooting. But I found part of the reason I think. I took along both my bows. Was shooting my 2013 Hunter and just was not shooting consistently like I was. Noticed the cable along the cam is getting worn and frayed and my bow seemed noisy at the shot but everything tight. Decided last 1/2 of the one course to shoot my 2011 Hunter and my bow was dead in hand, quiet, and arrow groups improved. Some of it my error but I think something is off with my one bow....

Some great mounts everyone! I'd have to kill something big to get a full body mount...but wouldn't mind having one!

Congrats to the team and also thanks to everyone participating! I didn't get much time out hunting this year but there is always next year God willing.

Have you looked at a John Deere Gator XUV? Little more $ but will do everything for you. I got the 825i last summer...it's a beast...can haul, tow, you can turn the box into a flatbed...2wd/4wd. I went with a gator because of the reviews vs the ranger were excellent also seemed to get a little more for the $. Alot of options. Also key for me was the adjustable driver's bucket seat vs not on the ranger unless it was a LE.

The commissioner in NY just declared last week that influenza season was over and healthcare workers who didn't get the flu shot no longer had to wear masks. There's just so many strains of viral illness and even one of the influenza strains is one that tends to adapt/evolve. Here's too hoping next year is better! Hope everyone perks up soon in your family.

There was some mild GI stuff we were seeing here...now allergies and upper resp. stuff...in fact started with congestion yesterday...my mother had an upper resp. thing 2 weeks ago....Kind of an endless season this year.

It was a shame he lost...and I understand the guy's point but his behavior was a bit distracting...I feel bad for his wife...he was a bit nasty to her on TV.
