    I'm a daddy

Big congrats to you and your wife arrow!!
  2. I would guess around $800....looks like ya got a great set-up!
  3. Right now just researching and seeing what is the best bang for the $$. I have a Kodak Z612 for a few years now....it's a beast to carry when hunting, lol. Has survived falling in a river and has kept working with the occasional glitch here and there. Any recommendations on a decent but reasonable price compact digital camera? Looking for something with around 12X or more optical zoom. The one cam I've been looking at is a Nikon Coolpix L610,anyone have one of those? What are the rest of you using?
  4. Good luck to you! Couple nice bucks there...
  5. What a shame..... Local news this evening was talking about the ice on lake Erire and people fishing....the warms up and cold spells is makign for unstable ice....
  6. Congrats to her on a beautiful buck!
  7. Anyone else waiting on some mounts? I am and can't wait...waiting on my 2012 archery and shotgun bucks...should be sometime come spring...maybe April-ish....So excited, my first deer mounts, lol:o
  8. Thanks XT. Missed 2 days of work then went back yesterday, other than feeling weak, it was nice to get back out in the world, lol. The numbers of patients we were seeing with cold/flu symptoms has dropped off quite a bit in the last week or so...hopefully it stays that way!
  9. Welcome to the WNY Outdoor and Travel Show! Held in Hamburg, NY each year. Met Randy Oitker there the one year. Well I see this year they have Don and Kandi Kiski coming:cool2: Whitetail Freaks is one of my fav. shows so I'm thinking of going if I don't have to work...Anyone else thinking of going? Would be neat to see them in real life, maybe they'll take me back to hunt their farm, lol!!:clown:
  10. Anyone else called in sick yet this year? Working as a nurse almost 4 years now, I only called in for 1 day until yesterday:no: Been fighting a cold for 2 weeks, got home from work Monday night and my throat hurt like never before, felt like a log jammed in my throat, noticed even my tonsils were red and swollen....I've never had strep before but I think I have now. Yesterday was my scheduled day off and I woke up with one eye all red and draining, just not good at all. Got an antibiotic and called in sick for today and Thursday, thankfully they got someone else to work. Will be back at it Friday but let me tell you I've never taken antibiotics for anything until now, that's how bad I felt. In general it's just a bad flu and cold year this year. I really can't wait until spring!
  11. Happy birthday, have a great one!
  12. As much as you may love your job, probably time for a change. There comes a time to ask your self "Do I want quantity or quality of life?" Maybe time to re-consider now while you can so you can enjoy life later on. Leo is right, pain pills help the pain but don't cure anything and if you keep taking them and working, your body will build up a tolerance and then it's a whole new game to find something that works. Nothing wrong withneeding pain meds but keep working through the pain and your back will be worse off down the road than if you change now...
  13. Fletching Jig sold pending payment. TruBall cyclone release with additional strap still available - $22 TYD.
  14. Wish I'd be around to meet everyone...but working all weekend...one of these years...and I'll bring cookies;)
  15. Exactly. And if you shoot too much, which I sometimes do, lol, your body gets tired and you make more mistakes. When I practice now, I try to not shoot to the point of being tired and I make myself take the time to properly execute my shot - I tend to rush the trigger, but since switching releases, I am getting better....the thing about archery is alot of it is mental so to speak. Tell yourself the hold that pin on target through the entire shot....
  16. Happy birthday Al! Hope it's a good one!
  17. That's a huge 7 point, congrats! Don't see too many coyotes around here but in the summer/early fall always hear a pack howling. Do see quite a few foxes though.
  18. Just wondering if any ladies are left here in the forums:confused:
  19. Be sure to post up some pics when you get it!
  20. 7? The clip for the Ruger .22 has 10...I dunno where you'd find a 7 round one...
