It has the strap on the vest then the tree strap, the tree strap runs through the loop on the end of the vest strap then wraps on the tree...in essence it's before they started putting carabiners with them.

2 weeks until squirrel season....also 2 weeks until I start my new job, you heard it. This current job is not for me...too many miles on the car, too much driving, too much desk work, having to take work home with me, too little patient interaction, a cut in pay...I was offered a week and a 1/2 ago a job as an urgent care RN, with a significant pay increase, not too mention the work is right up my ally.

The end of this league they do a big shoot with 20 targets, counts for double points...should be exciting, lol. I've got my pins set to shoot out to 45.

Started the league last Weds.....10 targets, 1 shot each target, ring scores go 11, 10, 8, 5, 0 if you miss completely. Last week I scored 86 and was 11th out ofapprox. 30 + shooters, no women's division so this is against all other adults,lol. Last night scored 99....was in the 10 ring on 8 of the targets, other 2 scored an 8 and an 11. Even beat out a guy in the group I was with who really shoots 3D for competition....

Ordered on Sunday, box waiting for me at home today. All my stuff I got from the Bargain Cave - an HSS Ultralite harness for $70, a pair of Cabelas Silent Weave gloves for $8....had ordered a pair of Teva sandals but they cancelled that, apparently no more in stock or something...oh well. Tried the harness on...it's very nice! Anyone else sending Cabelas an order?

Going to join another league, there is one starting up Agust 8th, Weds. evenings, for 8 weeks, they count your top 4 scores then a 5th score at a final shoot the end of September. I am excited! About 25 minutes from home, or I can drive there from work so looks like I'll be packing my bow in the car on Wednesdays. Downside is on some of those I'll be on call for my job so I'll cross my fingers I don't get a phone call in the middle of shooting, lol:cell:
