  1. Shot this buck on the evening of Oct 25. I saw him bird dogging about 100yards to my right so I hit him with the doe in heat can and he came right in. I stopped him at 18 yards and drilled him!
  2. Thanks guy's. Not worried about it at all. Shoots great, was just wondering.
  3. Deer will hear your bow go off before they hear the broadhead whistle. All the noise weather it's broadhead or fletching is BEHIND the arrow not in front. Put your video camera at the target while you shoot and you will not hear a thing!
  4. I shot my AM 32 through the chrony yesterday and it read 266m fps. Bow is set at 66lbs, DL 28.5, total arrow weight is 435gr, and nothing on the string except D loop. Does that sound about right? I thought this seemed a little slow. I was thinking it would be near 275 to 280 fps. What do you think?
  5. If you lost them with the G5, you probably did not hit them good in which case it dosen't matter which broadhead you use. Just my opinion. That being said, the Rage does get good reviews but at $14 each they are a little too expensive for me.
  6. In this order 1. Magnus Buzzcut/Stinger 4 blade (Awsome, scary sharp!!!) 2. G5 montec 3. Muzzy 4 blade All these are excellent!:tt1:
  7. Anyone else having noise problems with the limbdriver arrow rest? I have this rest on my AM32 and at the shot I get a loud slapping noise from the cord as it hits the riser. Any tips to make it quieter? I put a piece of moleskin where the cord contacts the riser but no improvement. I love the rest but if I can't get rid of the noise, It's going to have to go.
  8. I have the standard split limb clamp style. The one in that pic would work. Where can I get one?
  9. So I installed a limbdriver arrow rest on my new AM32 and found that as I ran the cord down from the limb to the arrow rest, the cord comes into contact with the little bump on the back right handed side of the riser where the cable guard enters the riser. Can this be avoided? Is this ok? should I just put a piece of moleskin where the cord comes in contact and move on? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  10. I've got it narrowed down to these two rests to put on my new Alphamax. Right now I'm leaning towards the limbdriver. Opinions?
  11. A few years ago I purchased a "no peep" or Zero peep. It is a small optic that you mount over or under your sight. It has a dot that you center in the lens. If your form is off just a little bit it will tell you. I LOVE it and will never go back to a peep again. This devise forces you to have good form. Not too many people seem to know about it as alot of people say "what the heck is that thing"? Check it out in the Cabelas catalog.
  12. I still have an old Golden-Key centershot gauge I picked up about 15 years ago for about $6.00. Don't they make them anymore?
  13. Magnus Buzzcut 4 blade. Scary sharp and fly like darts. Can't wait to put one through a whitetails boiler room!
  14. When putting on a D loop do you use nock points and a D loop or just a D loop? Ive been shooting a D loop for 3 years now without nock points. Should I put them in when I replace my D loop?
