Well Tim it's been a while since I have been on here and season for me has started out really rough for me...I got my arm broke back on the first of Oct. so needless to say I didnt get to hunt much. Our Muzzle Loader season kicked off and here I was sitting at home. On the last day, Last Evening I was able to get some help so I could get out and do some hunting.I was set up in a box blind that we had put out about 5 years ago.At 4:15pm I had a Buck moving threw the thicket and moving fast. He hit one of the shooting lanes and came to a dead stop. I was already on him. He stood there looking my way working his nose. At this time I didn't have a clean shot. What seemed like forever the Buck finally took a step forward and gave me a shot so I let my CVA sound off. After the smoke cleared I was glassing that area. I saw him kicking and thats when the shakes hit me and my heart started thumpin'.Thank God for friends. He had to help me get my CVA laoded up. Once I saw he wasnt going anywhere. I had to claim down. Well my heart did but I was still shaking so bad I couldnt get up.I sat there for about 40 minutes and then went out to look at the Buck I had just shot.As I walked up on him I saw he was bigger then I thought then the shakes came back into play...All I can say was THANK YOU LORD!!!!He was a 16 pointer but he had one tine broke which made him a 15 pointer...I am still pumped over the hunt. Something I will never forget...Here's pics of my wall hanger...
