10. LOL... No we were working cattle and had a cow get down I reached over the rail to get her up and she got me before I could get my arm out of the way...It snapped right above the elbow... Give me a holler Ryan and we will get something going...I have plenty of room here at the house since I am here by myself now...
11. Thanks Ryan... Congrtas to you to on the 9 point... Doing good got my arm broke in early Oct. so this was the first time out on the last evening of muzzle loader thank God for friends. I was able to shoot but was having a hard time loading my gun back up but all and all I got it done and I was able to drop this bad boy in his tracks... You need to come up sometime and hunt some hogs or what ever it would be great to get out and knock some down...
12. Well Tim it's been a while since I have been on here and season for me has started out really rough for me...I got my arm broke back on the first of Oct. so needless to say I didnt get to hunt much. Our Muzzle Loader season kicked off and here I was sitting at home. On the last day, Last Evening I was able to get some help so I could get out and do some hunting.I was set up in a box blind that we had put out about 5 years ago.At 4:15pm I had a Buck moving threw the thicket and moving fast. He hit one of the shooting lanes and came to a dead stop. I was already on him. He stood there looking my way working his nose. At this time I didn't have a clean shot. What seemed like forever the Buck finally took a step forward and gave me a shot so I let my CVA sound off. After the smoke cleared I was glassing that area. I saw him kicking and thats when the shakes hit me and my heart started thumpin'.Thank God for friends. He had to help me get my CVA laoded up. Once I saw he wasnt going anywhere. I had to claim down. Well my heart did but I was still shaking so bad I couldnt get up.I sat there for about 40 minutes and then went out to look at the Buck I had just shot.As I walked up on him I saw he was bigger then I thought then the shakes came back into play...All I can say was THANK YOU LORD!!!!He was a 16 pointer but he had one tine broke which made him a 15 pointer...I am still pumped over the hunt. Something I will never forget...Here's pics of my wall hanger...
