  3. Re: Tom Miranda\'s Bowhunting Encyclopedia Just curious what do you guys have against Tom Miranda. I love his show, his enthusiasm for the sport. He's just one of the good ole' boys that made it big. I think he got his start as a trapper?? He's honest--if he makes a bad hit he will say so. I really like the guy! todd
  4. Re: My nephew has some advice for dogdoc now that would be tough! funny what kids can come up with. Thankfully, I (think anyway) am a better veterinarian than hunter so don't think I could keep the universe balanced. todd

  11. How come when you upload a pic to the RT hosting site sometimes it actually loads 2 pics--one a small file and the other one a larger file. This just seems to take up more of your allowed file space?

    Newby: First post

Re: Newby: First post welcome to the forum--a great place to spend time when not hunting. todd
  22. Re: new gun kooter--I love my .25-06. I have shot many hogs with it and 9 out of 10 drop in their tracks. The other 1 out of 10 doesn't go far. The buck I shot this year took about 4 steps before falling. Packs a punch. I have shot several different loads and have the best luck with both accuracy and knock down power with the Remington Core-loks 120 grain. The federal nosler partition 115 is my second choice but the core-loks are 1/2 the price and do a better job for me. you will love shooting the .25-06--my shoulder loves it also. todd
  23. Re: perfict gun you have a lot of options in that price range. Are you only going to use it for yote hunting or also deer hunting? If only yote hunting a .223 is a great option as ammo is cheap. A 22-250 is another option but ammo isn't as cheap. If you are wanting to hunt deer also a .243 or a .25-06 is a good option. todd
  24. Re: 3 Year Old\'s Post Happy New Years Matt.
  25. Re: Which hand? you are correct--he needs a right handed bow. The right hand will draw the string and the left hand will hold the bow!
