My in-laws always send me money for or gift certificates for Christmas---which I love. Anyway, they sent cash this year so I decided I was going to buy me a digital game camera with it. After much research I decided to buy me a Leaf River Digital. I ordered it off e-bay yesterday. I come home and tell my wife I need to call her parents and tell them thank you for the new game cam. She says "What are you talking about--they sent you money." I told her what i spent the money on---she gets this funny grin on her face--walks into the other room and comes in with ANOTHER Leaf River game cam. My parents, brother, and her all pitched in a hundred bucks and bought me one for Christmas. I had no idea she would think about getting me one. She had logged on here at the forums under my name and did some checking and took cornfed's advise (like I did) and got me one! Yahoooo--now I have 2 digital cams! todd

Re: Hey Okies, When? Ryan---find where trails cross a fence--sometimes either going under or jumping over will cause the antler to fall all. Bedding areas are another great spot. Ditches or creek crossings. I find most of mind on the trails right inside the food plots. I think the bucks hang out right before dark before heading on the plot to eat. todd

A lot depends on your price range. You need to go to your local pro-shops and get your measurements and shoot several bows. Find one in your price range that feels best in your hands. Welcome to the forum. Great to see younger generation wanting to continue the hunting traditions. Bow hunting is great and your right--it extends your season and gives you so much more time in the stand. good luck todd

Re: Terrible Season be sure to cook those tags will--if under cooked they can make ya pretty sick I was very blessed with a nice 8 pointer during rifle season. Passed on a decent 7 pointer early bow season and stunk it up during BP season as I had a miss fire sorry about the season--but at least you had some chances. todd
