Olahoma State opened the season in the Rose Bowl and absolutely killed UCLA and USC just squeaked by them---of course that is a rival game---which can make a difference. Auburn is getting the shaft but what hurt them is their pre-season ranking---I think they opened the season ranked like 19th. I will agree the SEC had the toughest conference in my opinion. We'll see how it turns out. todd

Re: BCS Champion? No split champion this year--the Coaches agreed to go with the BCS standings at the end of the year. I would be all for a playoff system. And IMHO if you don't play a conference title game you don't get to play for the National Championship! todd

I messed up when I put my camera out--instead of setting it to take 1 pic every 5 minutes I set it at 5 pics every 1 minute Anyway---I think this little one got blinded---the flash had to have gone off right in it's eye. He was no where to be found on the other 4 pics the camera took. Here are a few of a fat doe and a really healthy fawn. They're getting fat on the plot. I didn't have any buck pics unfortunately there were only 5 different pics taken since the camera was taking 5 pics every time it was activated! hopefully I will get some bucks on the next roll! todd

sorry about you wounding a deer. I hope it survived the hit. I have never shot at a running deer--that would be a tough shot. Have you made that shot before? hope you luck improves!

Re: Need info on underground electric dog fences i have SEVERAL clients that use the invisible fence and have not heard one negative thing about them--they love them. One warning though, do not put the collar on too tight. I have treated several pressure sores on the neck of dogs b/c they were put on too tight! todd

Re: Soil Samples you can also send them the Whitetail Institute. A lot of ag co-ops will have it done for you as well as your County Extension Office. Cost's anywhere from 10 to 20 bucks. todd

Re: Intrducing my brother and his 2 kids maybe you just need to let one of the tag along with you--they can watch you hunt and let them learn some of your techniques as an observer. If they like it then they can start hunting with you or on their own. todd
