Those Illinois bucks kicked our butts! Seen a bunch 50 + but no shooters. Weather was terrible , but we stuck it out and came home empty handed. oh well thats why they call it hunting... Big Thanks to John Clough for having us, great time, great guy and awesome properties as well. Ans big thanks to my posters as usual. Without them it wouldnt happen here........

And if Im lucky enough to tag out early Im going stop and see if I can find one in Ohio. Though All these members from Ohio say theres only 3 deer in Ohio and 2 are does lol

Headed out wednesday morning, abouta 12 hr drive to hunt with one of our own Ildrhntr( think thats right lol) John Clough . Been talking with John for many months and the time has come. Going for the 1st season starts friday hunting with muzzleloader and this time I checked my zero ,cleaned it and put in the Skb case for safe travels. Hopefully one of those big brusiers will get a Barnes express mail 1st thing. Anyway Ill have my trusty posters posting and will have service this time lol Ill keep you posted Tim

This last Live hunt was a tough one ! To get some what of cell service I had to drive 10 miles ugh which after hunting all day was a chore. I had a great 10 pt come in on the second nite at 132 yards and I shot high and right. Thought it was me flinching etc but after skipping the next morning hunt I found out that my gun was shooting a ft high and a ft to the side! Never had a chance to check my gun due to 30 mph winds and gust to 40mph for 2 days . Figured that since my gun had stayed on since I last flew to Manitoba that it was still on WRONG! valuable lessoned learned costed me a great buck! So in a week or so Im headed to Illinois to hunt with John Clough ( member here) and hope to put a smasher in the dirt.... at least we will have cell service lol! talk to you soon!

Well cant sleep ugh have to be up in 4 hours... excited hoping to tag a Wyoming brute...season starts tuesday hopefully the bucks are on the prowl will keep you posted which might be tough very limited cell service wishing all you hunters sucess on a big one!

Thanks! Everyone for the comments... It was a great hunt Gage and i had about 10 hours of hunting in before that buck came thru. Awesome deal that buck came thru at almost the same time the second morning ,same trail,same direction Only thing is we moved blind and it worked like a charm. Seriously guys if your looking for awesome place to hunt this is it! Gage and Chelsea run a great camp,great food everything is A+ on this place.
