It usually doesn't matter to me either, but for some reason I had a bad feeling about it Thursday. Friday morning, got to work, went underground, got to where we were gonna work for the day. I was cutting a plastic bucket to attach a handle, and all of a sudden the knife slipped through faster than expected and slashed my left hand. Had to get 5 stitches to close it up! The owl shift saw the blood on the ground and everywhere else and told the supervisors it looked like someone had shot a deer. It was a terrible day. Hopefully it'll be okay though, getting injured in the coal mines is a serious ordeal especially since I'm just a summer intern. We'll find out on Monday:(
