  4. Thank You All!! Thanks to all of you for the birthday wishes! I had a great day!!
  5. The brand I use is Great Value from Walmart. Big surprise....huh!!
  6. For anyone interested, I posted my peanut butter cookie recipe in the Realtree Chuckwagon forum.
  7. This is the tastiest and easiest peanut butter cookie recipe I've ever tried. And it just won me a T-shirt and a hat!! Mrs. Strut10's Soft Peanut Butter Cookies: Ingredients: 1/2 cup margarine, softened 3/4 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour Directions: 1. Combine margarine, peanut butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla. Blend together very well. 2. Add flour, baking soda and salt with mixer. Chill dough 15 minutes in the refrigerator. Roll into balls by hand. 3. Place on sprayed cookie sheet and bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven until edges very lightly browning (about 7 to 10 minutes). Don't overcook. Store them in plastic storage containers, and they stay soft!
  8. Thank you!! Thanks Tim and Brooke! Those cookies are quite popular around here too. I sometimes put a mini peanut butter cup or a chocolate kiss in the middle of them when they come out of the oven, but hubby likes them plain. Thanks to all who participated and also a big thanks for all the congrats!
  9. It's nice to see a high school and a community that sticks together for the benefit of a child with Down's Syndrome. It's my hope that something like that happen for my little boy some day. Down's kids are so full of love and it's nice to see people giving it back to them like this.
  10. Hey ruttinbuc....thanks for looking for me, I really appreciate it!
  11. Anyone out there collecting McDonald's Coke glasses? I'm looking for 3 of the green/teal colored ones. All our local McDonald's are out of this color and I was hoping I could find them somewhere else. I have 3 blue ones and would be willing to make a trade or whatever. Last night I made my husband drive us 50 miles to a McDonald's who said they had them only to find out when we got there they were out of them!!!
  12. Been thinking about getting a dog for the family/kiddos. Want it to be kid friendly but also a watch dog. Heard Shiloh Shepherds were good dogs. Anyone familiar with them??
  13. In about 5 minutes....do you live close by? Can you make it in time?
  14. Thanks everyone for the nice comments!
