  1. It does not help accuracy, it's an old archery wives tale. However if it makes you more confident, that's all that matters.
  2. Sorry to hear that, Elite makes awesome bows but has had a problem with the draw stops this year.
  3. For what it's worth Andy actually has very little to do with the business now. They are back and on the right path, with a new owner and management. andy is more of a familiar face ad the name than anything. I have always loved the pre-Bowtech Ross bows, I still own 3. Their new bow the Crave is a sweet bow and I will be getting one soon. They are committed to CS and will warranty any of the pre Bowtech Ross made bows. That right there says a lot about the new owners committment. Check them out at www.rossarchery.com I have absolutely no affiliation with the company other than loving their bows.
  4. Young deer with excellent potential, he would get a pass from me on any property anywhere in the country.
  5. I personally don't like the bright blue of the Meta peep, I have trouble focusing when I look through it. I had similar issues a few years ago when I switched from a Jim Fletcher peep. Took the Meta peep off and put the Fletcher back in and I was shooting great again.
  6. Because where does it end, today crossguns in archery season and maybe the next thing will be rifles.
  7. I have no problem with the disabled or elderly using one as it has been here in Wi for many years. I am totally against full inclusion of crossbows in the regular archery season. If you are able bodied there is no reason to not shoot a vertical bow.
  8. the author is very obviously pro-crossbow. Why else not cover ALL aspects when comparing them to a vertical bow. You know such as drawing, holding, just little non important things.
  9. Actually the Snypers are the predecessors of the Rage heads, this isn't a bash on rage either as I have used the Rage 2 blade and had very good results with them. But truth be told the design of the Snyper and the gator is actually better than the rage in that it uses no O ring.
  10. The packers offense is awesome, especially Rodgers but I think their D is going to suck this year. Plus their special teams are horrendous, still I will cheer for them wether they go 13-3 or 3-13. I have been through plenty of losing seasons with the Pack, so I am prepared for anything.
  11. I don't beleive he will play as well as he did last year, but dang close. The Vikes will be the team to beat in the north.
  12. Go with what you are used to and have had luck with, your Reapers and Rage heads will be fine.
  13. I have shot FOB's for over 4 years and although I really liked Blazers I will never switch back. The noise some complain about comes off the back of the arrow and doesn't alert game. at least it has never alerted any of the several deer and turkeys I have shot.
