  1. Bought a Marlin .44 mag lever action and was wondering what bullet everyone recommends for deer hunting?
  2. Thanks ekyhunter, you were right. TC does have a $50 rebate on any new omega z5. That's even more of a reason to buy the omega.
  3. Thanks for everyone's input, i'm definitely going to go with the Omega. Now i can't decide between a stainless or blued barrel. Didn't know if the light reflection off a stainless barrel would be a problem when deer hunting or not.

  5. Was browsing the net for muzzleloader reviews and came across this new powder from IMR called White Hots on Guns and Ammo's website. Thought it was interesting, but it isn't coming out til Spring 2009. Here's what it states. • Looks nothing like anything seen before, it’s the only white gunpowder • Are in easy to load preformed charges, especially well suited for speed loading today’s .50 caliber in-line 209 rifles • Delivers faster velocities than the competition for more knock down performance on game • Shoots consistently with pinpoint shot to shot accuracy • Is cleaner burning for faster follow-up reloading and easy clean up • Produces no strong odors, it is sulfur and charcoal free, making rotten egg smell non existent • Are packaged in an unique 72-unit carton, convienient for carrying into the field
  6. I'm looking to buy a new muzzleloader and have it narrowed down between a Knight Disc Extreme 50 cal. or TC Omega Z5 50 cal.. Any suggestions to which would be the better choice?
