Things have been slow here in NY. Of course I have not been out as much as I typically am. I have passed on a few doe waiting for a good buck. Hopefully soon!

Hey Everyone, I am sitting in a stand in Kentucky as I write this. This is night 4 for me down here and the Bucks have not been cooperating. I did pass on a 125" 8 point on Wednesday night at 13 yards - he just wasn't what I was looking in for. Tomorrow night is my last night here then back to New York where our season opens on 10/1. I will be back here in Kentucky in November so if I don't fill my tag this week I will have another shot at it. Good Luck everyone.

I connected on a doe last night. Still hoping to upgrade my Kentucky buck.

The NY season opened 10/1 but it has been pretty slow in NY so far this year for me.

I just posted my pictures in the entry thread but they are pretty small. If anyone has any ideas how to correct this please let me know.

Hi Guys... I started my season out on 9/6 in Kentucky and was lucky and killed a buck 9/11. I tried posting a picture but after uploading it was tiny. I will try again later. For now here is a trail cam picture of the buck. My NY season opens on 10/1.

Things have been pretty slow in my part of NY. Hopefully I will add one to the score board shortly. I will also be in Iowa for the 1st 10-days of November. Maybe my luck will change then.

The NY season opened today. I am planning to go out this evening for the 1st time.

Just a couple more days until the opening of the NY season (10/1). Hopefully I can at least get a doe down pretty quick!

UPGRADE from 7-point Buck to 8-point Buck NY_GUNTeam 5 - Dropin' Tines8-Point Buck12/18/2012

Well I connected with an 8-point tonight. It is my first buck with the Muzzleloader. It is a minor upgrade in points for the team from my shotgun 7-point. It was a great way to end the NY Deer Season! I will try to get the pictures posted tomorrow.

Well the NY season ends today. I may try to get out one last time with the ML later this afternoon.
