Hey, I have fished my whole life but almost all of it has been smallmouth fishing in small creeks and rivers. My buddy just bought a bass boat and we are interested in walleye fishing but anytime we try we dont do any good. I have caught a few Saugeye, but they were from wading the tailwaters...lol going back to my roots. We have tried crankbaits nightcrawler rigs...casting trolling and jigging. We just dont have a clue how to fish big lakes for fish we have never fished for. Any help?

He is a year and half old, and I cant believe how fast he is picking it up with him a little older. I just got into duck hunting last year. Already got a boat, lab, and 7 dozen decoys. lol it is addicting

Sorry to post this so late I have been busy, but I killed my Indiana bird May 5th. I hunt in southern Indiana, and got out early in the morning since my buddy and I were setting up about 70 yards from a roost tree. Right at sunup a hen walked out into the field, but I never heard her fly down. As the sun come up I noticed that she had a beard. I had a big gobbler come strutting into my decoys about 25 yards, but I passed on him, cause I wanted that bearded hen so bad. I had to back out and circle around the field, and some soft calling brought her within 35 yards, and Benelli finished this story with a boom! I have some pics but are not developed yet (my digital camera was stolen from my truck) Once I get my pics I will post them. Congrats to everybody to scored this year, and good luck to everybody for next year. Oh yeah a full body mount is in progress. I should have it back next spring.

Re: Finally got a couple of does with my bow Everybody asking questions about him saying 75 to 85 grain broadheads werent killing deer It could be that his arrows werent flying strait with a light broadhead, and that little bit of difference in buying a heavier broadhead improved his accuracy...Just a thought..I realize its not that big of a difference. But it makes a difference in your confidence. But congrats on the doe!

I know you guys have seen my post over and over about how I am in Germany and all, but I will be home FRIDAY! Which means I will be in the woods Saturday considering this will be my opening day of deer season. It actually is opening day of muzzleloader season, but it is my actual opening day. Wish me luck, since I havent got to scout or anything. I am just going on luck and a prayer!! WOOHOO!!!! Oh yea, in case any of you guys were going to ask when I have to leave again with the Army the answer to that is whenever they tell me I need to go somewhere else. So maybe never, maybe in 3 months...We'll see
