Just watched the Bone Collector where Waddell was in Alaska. He spotted a wolf with a radio tracking collar and made some comments about wanting to use his moose bear tag to shoot the wolf but having to shoot the collar off. I guess he failed to see that a wolf tracking study is of no benefit to the hunting community. Sorry..I just found his comments in poor taste and contributes to the other issues I have with some of the hunter "celebs" and their comments/actions exhibited on their shows.

I have a food saver sealer and want to know if anyone has tried other brand bags? The food saver bags are considerably more $$. I know the other brand bags are 3-4 ply vs food saver are 6 ply but not sure if this makes that much of a difference. Thanks!

This is a lease I picked up this year. I am going to try and plant one of the roads. Unfortunately there are a few pines in the road so I will have for prepare/plant by hand. Hopefully the owner will allow me to remove the sweet gums in the road.

Looking for recommendations on hunting a 10 year old pine plantation that has not been thinned. Apprx 150 acres with a creek running through the middle. The pines/briars/brush run all the way up to the creek edge. Only a few hardwoods (willow oaks) were spared by the loggers. There are 2 roads that each run straight for apprx 150 yds with multiple deer trails crossing each so a blind on each road is an option. Thanks for your feedback!

Hunting all day may be the answer since you'd be ascending and descending in the dark when your fear of heights should not bother you as much. I can assure you comfort will not be an issue with the Viper.

Which fabrics are best/worst for maintaining camo color quality. I like chamois but camo fades after a few washings not to mention the camo colors are not brilliant to start with.

I read on another forum that due to the long throat of the Tikka T3 that the WSM calibers are about 200 fps slower than the ballistics call for.

I have read where it is best to hunt with a fouled vs a clean barrel due to effect on bullet impact. My question is how long is it safe to leave a fouled barrel before the effects of 777 start to have a negative affect?
