  1. Thank ya! It is great when you can do it yourself even down to making the plaques. I only have about $15 dollars in each euro mount.
  2. I killed him on October 28th. He was the fifth buck I had seen that morning. He was following a doe through my foodplot. I stopped him at 20 yards, put a rage in the cage, and the rest is history. I have so many pictures of him on my trophy cam thoughout the summer and fall.
  3. Anybody had any experience with one of these? Looking at getting one to throw on the 4-wheeler. Thanks.
  4. I would like to know what you think of them. I was wondering whether they are slick( with gloves on), and are they heavy? Thanks for all your input.
  5. warmed up the 'ole drenalin two nights ago! felt good!
  6. I disked the area, ran a drag harrow over it, seeded it, and then ran the drag harrow over it again. After two weeks the oats are looking good!
  7. 44 Mag rifle? If so, what do you have and what do you think of it and what barrel length do you have? I am thinking of getting a barrel for my pro hunter? Thanks for all the input.
  8. Thank you Lord for thinking of me on the cross...for shedding Your blood for my atonement!
  9. Saturday was a busy day. I disked up my spring plot and planted some oats and then applied 500 lbs of lime to my fall plot and disked it in. After the gentle rain we got all day Sunday and warm temps this week, the oats ought to be popping up quickly!
  10. What you need is 1- 50lb bag of fine stock salt 1- 50lb bag of trace mineral salt 1- 50lb bag of dicalcium phosphate You will need to mix 1 part salt, 2 parts trace mineral, and 1 part di-cal phosphate. 200 lbs of mixture for around $35.00. I just put mine out two days ago. Hope this helps!
  11. I was going to suggest the QDMA website to your Tom2008 but it looks like you found it. I have bought my salt for 3.00, trace mineral salt for 6.00, and found a 50 lb bag of dicalcium phosphate for 22.50. Much better way of doing it for the price and the amount you get.
  12. Did you plant the Red Zone in the spring? There is a store around me that has all of their Antler King products marked down to 6.00 to 8.00 dollars depending on which one it is.
  13. Anybody out there had any success with this product? If so, which one? Thanks
  14. I am going to be planting about 1 acre. From what I have read, Lablab or something like it needs to be planted in a large tract because it can't handle the browsing pressure. Would lablab be ok in 1 acre?
  15. I have planted fall food plots now for a couple of years, but I am wanting to step it up and plant a plot in the spring. Just wanted to hear some feedback with what worked for you as a spring food plot. Thanks.
  16. This past year was the first year that I put out a food plot. I am wanting to help the herd with mineral supplements, but because I live in Indiana, there are rules that you can't hunt over minerals nor the ground that has been affected by the product. I would put them in a spot that I would never be hunting, but I also don't want to affect the deer travel patterns. Any suggestions?
  17. I bought one before last year and used it on three deer and now I don't know how I would live without it. A big help if you are field dressing by yourself. I used it while my buddy was helping me and now he has one.
  18. In pursuit with Greg Miller and Whitetail Freaks, and any show with Stan Potts!
  19. Yes, I plan on removing the stumps and making it alot bigger next year. After you have seen where it is and what I am dealing with, what would you suggest for a fall plant?
  20. I have the buck zipper that is not serrated. Great knife!
