  1. Re: The Big One Is Home I would guess that deer scores high mid 170s minimum with a very good chance at breaking 180. Let us know.
  2. Re: What\'s your favorite Slogan or Saying........ "If the saying, if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger is true then right now I am superhuman." By Me
  3. Re: I just printed a Dozen Shortly after my wife and I got married. We had a fight about, "One night a week out with the girls." She told me I couldn't do that anymore!

    Draw weight?

Re: Draw weight? 60lbs will zip through a deer like it's a sheet of paper. I shoot heavier at 70lbs because I shoot heavier better. I have shot comfortably at 92lbs. But now I shoot lighter.
  8. Re: Bear hunt ? ? ?\'s No Norm it is not. But if you PM or Call me I will give you that guys number. His place might be to tough for someone on the mend. Right now I personally don't think I myself could make the 4 wheeler drive back to his cabin.

  10. Re: Black and Decker is Shameless Along with that this is the gift all the ladies want.
  11. Re: To all of you in America HSUS The Humane Society of United States is after bowhunting in a big way. Contrary to popular belief this group does not fund a single animal shelter. They are anti hunting, anti fishing and anti pet. If the real nature of this organization were known to the non hunting public which supplies the majority of it's funding (Non hunters are not naturally antis) This organization would go absolutely bankrupt.
  12. Re: Can the average bow hunter tell a difference? Personally, I would love to the difference of these shot from a bow equipped with a drop away rest in a machine. Of course at several different distances. With the human factor removed it would be pretty illuminating. Unless somebody does it independently of the manufacturer don't expect to ever see it. They are perfectly happy collecting a premium on super straight arrows.
  13. Re: COMPUTER VIRUS AGAIN [ QUOTE ] Yep, its a fake. The FBI (or any other legitimate organization) NEVER sends out unsolicited emails. [/ QUOTE ] This is a main point. If the FBI is after you they aren't going to warn you with an email
  14. Re: To all of you in America [ QUOTE ] I hate to hear things have gotten that bad over there. That's why I always defend other hunters, trappers and fisherman. I might not participate in one of the areas of their sport, but I'll stand up for them. Some people don't like dog hunting, bow hunting, or trapping. There's a place for all of it, we should respect others way of hunting, and not let them divide us. [/ QUOTE ] Excellent point. One man's compromise is certain death to anothers tradition. Whenever you hear the words, "But you'll be able to do this instead." take heed someone is getting a raw deal.
  15. Re: Bear hunt ? ? ?\'s Norm I think these folks have a pretty good size operation. I know they are equipped to handle wheelchair bound hunters. They seemed like nice folks when I met them in Memphis. The Bears Lair
  16. Re: Demadecdic Mange - Dogdoc The dips can be very effective. This is what worked for our dog. Keep in mind stress to the animal allows the Demodex to come back even after dipping. This means if the animal gets sick from something else demodex can reappear. Anything that would cause the immune system to be challenged opens up the opportunity on demodex. Yep it's caused by a mite but what a nasty one it is. Dogdoc sounds like you're a pretty reasonable guy and a good vet to boot. Curing mange at a reasonable price will definately improve repeat business

    Old Posts.....

Re: Old Posts..... Guess what. A lot of these old posts show up on Google and Yahoo. A new prospective member finds these on a search engine and decides to join and post some replies. I would bet the majority of the old post resurrections are from new members wanting to join in on a discussion. If the item is of interest to them why not let them join in the discussion belatedly. Surprise they might have something new to add. At any rate let's not turn away new members because we feel that topic is old. Locking these threads would be rude. Rereading it and getting irritated is your own fault.

    Gas Prices?

Re: Gas Prices? [ QUOTE ] YEA YEA YEA keep moaning then try and drive a 2.8ltr jeep over here, we pay 0.89 pence per litre!! That's about $1.50USD per litre (NOT GALLON) I spend about $100 USD per week in fuel - Easily now thats's expensive, Cigerates are now up to £5 for a pack of 20, thats about $7.50USD and beer is about $4 USD per pint. Why are the bad things in life so expensive? !! [/ QUOTE ] Cause they are worth it
  22. Re: Hello from Scotland Wow! $85usd a bird. I remember hearing guys moan about $8 per quail at some of the ranches here. Puts that one in perspective. I also hear the Blair Athol has a huge population of red deer. Pictures I have seen of it look very rugged.
  23. Re: Your a salesman? Better read this. Can I forward this to our entire sales department? Second thought they will just think I wrote it anyhow.
