1. Try those CE Piledrivers. Supertough Carbons that hit like a truck.
2. That's for Scimitar Horned Oryx. The one Rhino got was a Gemsbok Oryx. Different species. Gemsbok are not endangered at all. Very nice mounts! And yeah they are heavy. My Kudu mount is the heaviest mount I've ever had to deal with.
3. If the grip on the bow is too big for you. No amount of technique is going to help. On some bows you can get an aftermarket grip that's smaller and fits better. They aren't cheap but a good archery shop might have some you can try before you buy.
4. If you have small hands a smaller aftermarket grip will help you a lot. If the grip feels "FAT" in your hand your natural reaction is to squeeze it. There are several styles. They are not cheap. A local pro shop that's decent may have some you can try.
5. Skullbound with Jana Waller Jack Brittingham Ultimate Shot Archie Nesbitt
6. If you try and film a hunt without a camera arm or a tripod, your footage will look like the camera was being held by someone chased by angry villagers. The video will be so shaky it will give you a headache to watch. Whatever you get. Practice taking videos of other things before you take it on the hunt. It's not something you need to learn at the moment of truth. Shooting a good video is HARD! If your computer does not have the horsepower to play HD videos don't get an HD camera. Unless you plan on upgrading your computer as well. Cameras that record directly to HC SD cards are the easiest to deal with editing wise. Transferring video via usb or firewire is painfully slow by comparison. You're limited a little on video length but an 8GB card stores a lot of video and spare cards are much cheaper nowadays.
7. Broadheads shoulder the blame for a lot of bowhunter mistakes unjustly. I'm not to saying there aren't some crappy heads of both mechanical and fixed variety out there, because I'm sure there are. Bad shot placement, low FOC, underspined arrows, a poorly tuned bow, too light an arrow with not enough momentum are all things that can cause poor performance that the broadhead type has little to do with. I know a guy that has had great success with Ramcats in Africa but I also know he has the above issues covered as well. The 125grn Slicktrick Standards really perform for me in my set up.
8. I'm glad to hear it. I've seen people loose houses over that balloon at the end of an ARM.
9. Make sure there is NOT a balloon payment that gets added to your principle after the seven year ARM. A lot of ARM loans have a big hand on the end of them that slaps the crap out of you. We went from a 30 yr fixed to a 20 yr fixed. Saved us more than $100/month and we will be paid off a few years earlier. This was bottomline even after including the closing costs into the refi. Lower payment, shorter term and no out of pocket. Shop around folks, in this economy the only raise you'll likely get is one you get for yourself by doing a smart refi.
10. Paper tuning is the start of good tuning practice not the end. After paper tuning you should "Walk Back tune" and finally "Broadhead tune". There is a common misconception that mechanical heads do not need broadhead tuning. Broadhead tuning IS effective even on mechanical heads.

Dang...

All I can say is more prayers sent.
12. Haven't done one in a while. This is my attempt at a Micheal Hedges tune. http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/rsrc.php/v1/y2/r/5l8_EVv_jyW.swf?v=4299875902050&ev=0
13. It's incredibly difficult to start a fire with a modern firearm shooting smokeless powder. I challenge anyone to try and do it on purpose. No cheating, like shooting exploding or targets filled with flammable substances. You can shoot all the paper you like.

Nibiru

The guy is switching between calling it a planet, a star, and a solar system. He claims to have seen this thing up close. To be fair, maybe he's not sure. Well I'm sure. He's full of crap. He also recommends building a lead helmet to protect the memories in your brain and a bunker to protect against the meteors.
15. They are called Eliminator Buttons. Tuffy/Eliminator Buttons - Bow Strings & Accessories - Bow Accessories
16. That's what I'm thinking too. I saw him last month and the rack was half that size.
17. That's what I'm thinking too. I saw him last month and the rack was half that size.
18. For sure for around here. Last year he was just under P&Y size. This year he'll likely make it. Looks like width is going be about the same but mass and tine length will probably be better. His brow tines are already as long as they were last year. There's a four point hanging around the same area that's the biggest 4 pt I've ever seen. He's about 16" wide, two 8 inch back tines and no brow tines. Haven't seen him this year yet. Couldn't get a picture of either one last year.
19. This is how a good one looks in June around here. Still got almost two months to grow. This guy is at least 4 years old. I've got his sheds from 2 years ago and he was a nice 8pt then. The dog fennel is hiding the other brow tine. It's there and just as big.
20. It was painfully slow action today. Worked hard but managed to catch a good dinner!
21. Ethanol in fuel nowadays eats hoses and gaskets. Ethanol makes fuel unstable and corrosive. I won't recommend STABIL. But I will recommend STARTRON enzyme fuel treatment. It really helps everything I put it in. Even my truck! If you're not getting spark. Take out the battery and take it with you to get it tested when you get a new plug. Lots of autoparts stores have a battery tester. Just a voltage check isn't enough of a test. It's possible to have a battery that registers 12V that still doesn't deliver enough cranking amps. That's why they also check the cranking amps the battery can still deliver.

Got geckos?

Mediterranean House Gecko. They aren't native but they are good bug eaters. I haven't seen any around my house but they are found in just about every southeastern state.
