I finally got a chance to test all the modifications I did to my 223REM NEF Handy Rifle.
Out of the box accuracy on this rifle was a disappointing 1.75MOA.
I did a ton of tinkering with it (re-bed, re-crown, tighten action, trigger job) and even gave it a custom paint job.
It looked nice.
Here is how it groups now at 100yds!
The little rifle actually shot better than my 300WBY with reloads, although I strongly suspect the heavy crosshairs and lower power of the scope on the Weatherby is holding it back. The space in between holes on this target is essentially the same as the thickness of the crosshairs as seen on the target.
