    A neat find

I was cleaning up my PM inbox when I discovered that I am subscribed to over 8600 threads. Must be a glitch with the new system. The plus side is clicking on threads from 8-9-10 years ago when I first joined. Classics like these http://forums.realtree.com/forum/miscellaneous/lounge/74098-17th-annual-calf-fry?view=thread Who remembers the Smackdown http://forums.realtree.com/forum/miscellaneous/announcements-online-contests/62166-4th-annual-northeast-smackdown Exturkinator http://forums.realtree.com/forum/miscellaneous/lounge/60162-a-fitting-tribute-to-exturkinator?view=thread Becoming a Moron http://forums.realtree.com/forum/miscellaneous/lounge/83891-entering-moronville-with-this-post?view=thread
  2. I see an orange band on the right antler. Is that a normal Illinois tag? Looks closer to 300+ pounder to me.
  3. I expect an interesting response from Lewis :clown:
  4. How much ear could a woodchuck eat if a woodchuck could eat ear.
  5. Ruth, sorry for the delay. I got your PM but this new system won't let me send you a reply PM. I will include my return address in the envelope.
  6. We got 4 feet of lake effect at our house last week. The east coast can have their share now.
  7. Wish we had a league around here. Right now we have just one league at a Matthews dealer and if you show up with something other than a Matthews bow you get harassed.
  8. How much for just the Extreme light with shipping?
  9. Had another great time at the Expo this year! It's not the biggest show but it's great for kids. It was really great to see Tim again and swap hunting stories.
  10. Exactly!! Michael Moore reminds me of the streakers who used to run out on the baseball fields in the 70' & 80's. As long as we give me attention he will keep it up. Turn the cameras off him and he will go away.
  11. The movie was amazing!!! I highly recommend seeing it in a theater for the full audio experience. Here is a great video of Taya Kyle that I thought was very cool.
  12. Check this out. http://www.powerbeltbullets.com/PBB26inchballistics.pdf
  13. My best friend had the exact same problem with Shockwaves and his T/C Omega. Was practically pounding them in with a hammer. He dumped those bad boys I have shot Powerbelt's since they first came out and I absolutely love them. Only once have I ever had one not pass through and that was only because it broke a front and back leg. The bullet was lodged just under the skin. I have read a lot of mixed reviews on Powerbelt's penetration and most of them are on the 270 and 295 grain bullets. NOW ME on the other hand.... I use the 348 grain aerotips and my best friend that I mentioned uses the 338 platinum's. He uses pellets and I use loose Pyrodex powder. I have never had a deer go over 50 yards after being shot. The last two went less than 20 yards. I would try a bigger bullet Luke. This is my 2014 blackpowder buck. He went about 10 yards. This was the deer I mentioned before. Broke his front shoulder and hind leg.
  14. Don't listen to him. He's a stud, a nice 2.5 year old. If he can dodge the car and poachers for the next 10 months he should be a real dandy.
  15. I've seen this guy on Facebook. Amazing stuff.
  16. He looks like a 3.5 year old to me. I bet you get some decent tine length next year but he will stay an 8 point
  17. If you like simplicity and ease of use, get a dragon slayer, EXCALIBER! I got to use one up in Canada and they are amazing.
  18. If they would just get the JW's to deliver the mail we would have the postal service would be back in the red in no time. :clown:
  19. Another cool one is the Tree Jack. I like their Tree Jack Strap for breaking up your outline in the trees. Especially where I hunt and there are no big trees to put your stand on break your outline.
  20. Here was my favorite from the ATA show. Nothing worse than your hook clanging against the stand as you climb. [video=youtube;ciXYIt55a1U]
  21. Hey looks guys... 81 points.... BOOOM! :drink::rock::gunsmilie::toot::rockon:
  22. From what I'm told, the lines are crazy long for this flick at the theaters.
  23. The orthodox Jews take no work on Sundays to a whole new level. We were on a trip to the burbs of New York City and the hotel we stayed at had 2 elevators. The first elevator worked just like any other elevator, push a button and go to that floor. The second elevator however would run constantly and would stop on every floor. This was so the Jews didn't have to push the buttons on Sundays which was considered work. There were many more examples like this in the hotel. We had a good chuckle but respected their faith.
