  1. Hey there fellow New Yorker! I too hunt central New York. Where do you hunt?
  2. Hey? Did they bring back the rock climbing again? Nathan went crazy for that the first year.
  3. You know I will be there. Kids always look forward to it. Aside from you, this is first year without any Realtree pro staffers. You've had T-bone, David, Ralph & Vicki. This year its the Landrys again and the Turtlemans helper. Doesn't anyone want to come to New York?
  4. You know I will be there!!!!!!
  5. I'm going to see it hopefully this weekend. What's up with Canadians lately. First Jim Carey bashes our gun rights and Charlton Heston and now it's Seth Rogan bashing our patriots. We need to send these asshats home. Probably everyone will forgive and forget like they always do. I for one will not let Jim Carey grace my tv set. For all of you who paid money to see Dumb and Dumer 2 go and google Jim Carey "Cold Dead Hand" . Now I'll add Seth Rogan.
  6. Spend a Saturday chasing tip-ups with me and I'll show you exercise.
  7. The best part about ice fishing is the food! It's like tailgating. Our ice here is just starting to really firm up. Should fishing with my kids soon. Check out www.iceshanty.com its my favorite forum for the next 3 months.
  8. A few years back I bought a large rechargeable flashlight in preparation for having to track deer after dark. I bought one from Gander Mountain that looks something like this. While this light is extremely powerful (I nicknamed it the sun gun because its so bright) it unfortunately has only a 15 minute battery life. Hence it makes it useless in the woods. I would like to get a new light before next season. For those who have tracked deer after dark what are you using and do you have a light you can recommend? Battery life is a top priority for me and I would like it to be rechargeable.
  9. "Regardless of the colour of a live lobster, once cooked they all turn bright orange, he said." Well that answers my question from the previous thread. Congrats once again Lewis!
  10. Having family in Vermont I have seen for myself that this state is a model for the rest of the nation. Good luck guys!
  11. That is so cool. Nothing gets me fired up like a landowner who wants a bunch of dead does. Thanks for sharing the pictures in the other thread.
  12. I'm going to be busy visiting my good friend Tim Andrus at the NY Sportsmans Expo next weekend!!!! :toot:
  13. Deer season has been all done here in NY for almost a month. Getting geared up for ice fishing with my kids lately.
  14. If you stick around on Fly's video link, after the story about the blue lobster there is a story about a yellow lobster. Apparently they are MORE rare than the blues.
  15. My guess is that the whole group limited out in one pass. The 40 shots in one barrage would have raised my poaching suspicions since they are only allowed 3 shells in the gun each when waterfowl hunting.
  16. Very sad indeed. When I first moved up here in the early 90's I tuned in every morning to see him and Rich Eisen. He will be missed.

  19. That is amazing!! Out of curiosity, what would he have been worth if you sold him?
  20. If the wardens don't help there is always the three S's. Shoot....Shovel....Shut-up. :gun1:...:taped:....:shifty:
