  1. I had the same problem this morning loading pics.I got that fault when trying to attach them from my computer so I uploaded them to the RT photo post. Then they wouldn't show up in my thread unless they were thumbnails,I just got little red x's. Any ideas?
  2. My advice isn't good enough for you huh Harv.:pLOL Texans right, the pattern will change, but usually not until after the season is in full swing. If you can find where the deer are traveling they should still be using the same trails, feeding and bedding areas at the start of the season.
  3. Hey Lou,I saw Whitetail Addictions last night...I likee.Having the Outdoor Channel and MOR is pretty sweet, but for some reason I don't think the wife is that crazy about it.LOL
  4. That's awesome!Congrats to your family.

    sold our house

That's awesome news!Congrats on the house sale and retirement Craig! That should free up a little more time for golf and hunting ehh.
  6. Thanks Chris!LOL it took me a while to figure out how to get the pics up.It's my first time since the new format and for some reason all I could get to work was the thumbnails. Were definately going to plant some trees. There a guy just outside of town that will plant 10-12 footers pretty reasonable. Finn,I don't have the floor plan online, but if you want I could take a pic of the cad drawing and post it later.
  7. I finally rounded up my camera cord and got some pics of the house uploaded. Here's the front of the house.
  8. I watched it last night.Pretty good show.MOR has some pretty good hunting programs on.I like Whitetail Properties too,and look forward to seeing 24/7 for the first time ,since I just got the channel last weekend.
  9. Speakin' of that, you'll never guess what happened last night.About 7 o clock it's started storming and we got about a 60-70mph straight wind.We have,or had, a 12X12 dog kennel in the back yard for when we let ole' Beagle Blu outside till we get a fence put up.Guess where that ended up....smacked right into the back of the house.I found the dog house about 300 yards away in a ditch. The kennel is completely demolished.Luckilly it only busted one piece of vinyl siding and beat the downspout up which of course is a special order color.I can't believe it..just my luck. I took some pics of the house, but now I can't find the cable to hook the camera up to the computer so I'll have to go pick one up tonight.
  10. Congrats Marky!That's awesome!
  11. It'll be tough to find many scrapes or rubs with all the vegetation this time of year.Setting up from a distance and watching where the deer move is a great idea.I would do that first to see how the deer travel, then go to the trails that the deer use and start looking for spots to hunt and even clear some shooting lanes if needed.I usually do this part in the middle of the day when the deer are less active, and still use scent control to keep the area a little less disturbed.Hope this helps you out some Harv.
  12. I lift 4 or 5X a week. Not for competing or anything, but I just want to stay healthy, stay in shape, and look younger than I really am.LOL.When I turned 30 I decided to start taking a little better care of myself...better late than never.I'm taking 2 weeks of now due to moving, but plan on getting back at it next week. You take any supplaments?
  13. Have a good one Jeramie.Happy birthday!

    Guardian

The Guardian is sweeet!A few guys at league shoot them and they are the quietest bow up there and super smooth.I wish I could talk momma into letting me drop some green on one...maybee next year. Can't wait to see the pics!
  15. It was a great finish!Congrats to Jamie Mac!I'm just glad that "Gomer" Kyle didn't win.
  16. Well, after three months of living with the in-laws we finally have our own home again! We sold our old house(1200 SQ.ft.-no basement) because we outgrew it with 2 kids and a beagle,so we decided to move before our little girl starts school this fall.We built a house in the same town that we both work in so it's about a 4-5 minute drive to work for both of us which is awesome. We found a great contractor that worked with us and let me do a few projects myself to save a few bucks. It's been a pretty stressfull 3 months for us and the in-laws,but it feels great to finally be staying in our own house again. It's a 1500 sq.ft. ranch on a full basement with an awesome garage just inside city limits..I'll post some pics later this week after we get a little more settled in. It's also 20 minutes closer to the farm,so now I only have about a 50 minute drive to get there.Another plus is we just got Dirct TV,and now I have both the Men's channel and the Outdoor Channel! What could be finer then that...especially with all the new seasons starting up!
  17. Sounds like a blast! To far for me to go,but I wouldn't mind going to Indy for theirs.I've always enjoyed that stuff...even use to do mud boggs and drags for a few years.
  18. It's great to see all the new seasons starting up!It seems to make it the "official" time for me to start scouting, hanging cams, and trimming lanes when the new stuff starts.
  19. I bet you'll shed your spots grow your spikes by the end of the month.
  20. Yep,it's happening all over the state. It's getting harder and harder to find good places to hunt.Fortunatley I've been hunting the same the same properties for quite a few year, but that could change any time.It stinks, but you can't hardly blame a guy for trying to make as much money as possible on leases. Where you from xOZx?I live in Highland.
  21. Welcome to the forums! Thanks for the heads up on the drawings.I just checked and all my tags have been issued. I don't know much about the area you'll be hunting, but a few guys on the forum hunt Pike,so hopefully someone can help you out.
  22. That's great news Chris!Glad to here everything is turning out so good!I'm sure it's nice to breathe a sigh of relief.
  23. Still waiting on the decals too.I still think an option to have your screen name put on them would be sweet.
  24. Welcome. It's a pleasure to have you as a RT forum member.
  25. Blue ended up signing Keith Tkachuck and Paul Karyia, and last years #1 draft pick Eric Johnson says he's playing next season so things are looking up for the Blue notes.
