1. That's awesome, man! Heck of a mulie...congrats!
2. Nice! Congrats to your brother! It's nice to put one on the ground early in the season.
3. Mine is an '03 F150 FX4. I put on a 5" suspension lift and some 35's a few months ago.
4. I've got Nitto terra grapplers on my truck, and Mastercraft Courser AT's on the wifes Suburban.
5. We had pretty nice weather here over the weekend too. I got my clover plot mowed, some firewood cut, and a two person stand put up so I can take my daughter a few times this year. I still have two more stands to hang and a few lanes to trim. Our season opens on a Monday this year, which stinks. I had a few pictures of a freakin toad on my trail cam. He's got a buggered up right side so he won't score much, but his body is huge. Stackin' Racks is cool with me.
6. Yep. I seen it to. I'm glad Realtree did that episode. It was nice to see Big E again.
7. Better luck next time Tim! It sounds like a great trip even though you didn't get to let one fly. It sounds like you were seeing plenty of game, which is always nice.

Teams

Yep. Realtree Forums annual deer hunting contest. You just missed it though. teams got picked about a week ago.
9. I usually start a little light rattling in mid October. Around Halloween I start getting a little more aggressive. I don't rattle a lot though....maybee every hour and a half to two hours.
10. No doubt about that! A lot of "firsts" for him on the trip lol. My highlight of the weekend was my little girl riding on the coasters with me. The arm still to swollen for a cast. Going to try and get one on next week, but things look like lined up pretty good on todays x-rays. It's his left hand, and he's a lefty so he's struggling with a few things....in perticular wiping his rear end!
11. Well, we made it home last night from our long weekend Disney trip. It was memorable to say the least. We stayed at Disney's All Star Sports resort. It was o.k. The outside was neat, but the rooms aren't anything special. The main pool was closed for refurbishing which kinda stunk, so we didn't do much pool lounging. The Magic Kingdom was great. The kids had a great time, and my 8 year old daughter went on her first roller coaster ride with me on Space Mountain. Since it was her first time the guy working there gave me a picture of us on the ride for free, which was great since they usually get $18 a picture. We did get stuck on the Pirates of the Carribean ride for an hour and a half, which through our dinner plans out the door. We got on at 7:30 and it was 9 when we got off. Overall though it was great. Sunday we hung out and took it easy. Visited a few of the other resorts, and rode the mono rails around. Pretty relaxing day just wandering around without a set schedule or any place to be. Now..on to Monday. My wife and boy wanted to go to Animal Kingdom, my daughter and I wanted to do Hollywood Studios. We did Animal Kingdom, and things were going great. My daughter and I rode Mt. Everest roller coaster. (Which is great by the way) While my wife and son were waiting for us to get off of the ride, he fell and broke his arm. It was awefull. His forearm was bowed and his wrist was pointing down. he's the toughest little guy....5 years old and never cried once. Luckily the paramedics were close by and we got him in an ambulance pretty quickly. The x rays at the ER showed both bones above his wrist were broken. I have to say that everyone from the Animal Kingdom, the paramedics, the doctors and nurses, and the resort were extremely helpful with the situation. They helped us out any way they could and really made us feel comfortable considering we had no idea where we even were at the time. The nurses even took their picture with him for our vacation photo album lol. They got his bones reset and splinted up for the flight home. Tomorrow we go see an orthopedic surgeon to see what's next. Hopefully they can cast it up and send us on our way without needing surgery, pins, or plates. It's the first time either of the kids have been really hurt bad. If you think about send a word to The Man upstairs for my little trooper. It's not a trip I'll soon forget.
12. Checking in with team 6! I still have a few more weeks before things get kicked off here.
13. Taking the family to Disney World for the weekend. Our flight leaves STL at 7:30 tomorrow morning and coming home Tuesday night. I've never been there either, so if any one has any tips or pointers to give I would be glad to here them lol. I think we're going to spend one day at Disney and one day at MGM. The other days will be spent at the pool or water park . I hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend!

About that time

39 degrees...NICE! Only supposed to be about 95 here today lol. Good luck!
15. Hey Griz...glad that you stopped in. It sounds like your family has had a pretty rough road. Sorry to hear about your aunt and Mom. Cancer sucks ,man. I lost a hunting buddy and a Grandma to cancer recently. For me it was the first time anyone close to me has had to deal with it. Keep your chin up Griz.
16. Sounds like a great time!Looks like a couple of beautiful courses.
17. I used them for quite a few years. They are a great head and group right in with field point. Blood trails were great also. I don't think I ever had a deer go more than 50-60 yards after a hit. I did bust a few ferules on some bone hits and pass throughs, but that's expected from time to time. The only downfall is that they aren't made to practice with. They destroy a foam target pretty quickly, and can be a pain to pull your arrow out.
18. I always go by mileage. Never really paid much attention to the 3 month thing. I never go over 3500 miles on an oil change, but I know a lot of these newer vehicles have more time between maintanance intervals.
19. In my experience brassicas grow very quickly compared to clovers. It's quite possible that the brassicas grew quickly and shaded the clover and robbed the nutrients. With brassicas being an annual, they just grow, mature, and die. That's probably why they are starting to die off. I'm with William also, in that brassicas are better suited for fall plantings. Like XT Man said, when to plant depends on your location. I've planted brassicas anywhere from the middle of August to the middle of September here in Illinois, and never had a bad plot yet.
20. Very cool, man! I love the originality. You don't see many mounts like that one.
21. Hmmm. I must have missed that. Crossbows don't really matter to me. As long as I can pull a compound back that's what I'll be hunting with though. What kills me is all the firearm seasons anymore. All total there are 19 days when firearm hunting is allowed. IMO opinion they need to dump the late winter seasons all together and limit the number of non resident tags.
22. It's hard to tell from the picture. Did the plants have any pods on them? At first glance it looks like some sort of pea...cow peas maybe?
23. I live in Madison county, but do most of my hunting in Bond and Montgomery counties. It made it to 107 yesterday. The local news said we've had 11 days of 105 and higher temps so far this summer. That's to hot for me to even go in the back yard and shoot.
