1. Well i stand corrected
2. Well I've never seen any like this, not saying they haven't been done, but no one i know has seen it. Yes, i was wanting to do a little advertising for him. He's not looking to get rich, he just really enjoys painting and looking to make a little hunting money on the side. These are a couple of pics from the one he just did for me. I took them with my phone so pics don't do it justice.
3. I have a friend thats a talented artist. Last year he painted a deer head for me in a mossy oak type pattern. It came out great and has done several since in fact he just did a six point i shot last year in a hunter orange with the branches and leaves. I want to advertise his work but how would I go about doing it on here? I have pictures of his work and its something different that no one has seen before and really looks great. I'm not sure of the rules concerning this so can anyone set me straight on how going about this.
4. I just did the dpf delete and installed a new 4" stainless exhaust, a edge cts programmer, new air intake, the blocker plate, transgo jr. kit and what a totally different vehicle i have now. I only run on level 2 although it goes up to 7. I think i can only go to 4 safely. But i did gain my fuel mileage back that I lost by going to 285 tires and the cognito level kit. I wouldn't spray water into my engine unless your talking about that service a couple of companys provide but even then I'd be worried about it. You won't see a performance increase just a peace of mind that your engine is breathing cleaner air. And I read a lot into all of this before and I don't know of any additive that will clean it out. I don't know about the illegal part in fact this is the first time I've heard it mentioned. I do know if you live in a state that is strict (California) you will have to put everything back the way it was to get your emisions passed.
5. I've known this girl since I first moved into my house and she was 2. Her parents divorced several years ago and I've always tried to do as much as i could with her, which isn't a problem because she has always been one the sweetest and most polite people I've had the pleasure of watching grow up and spend time with. Well a couple of years ago she started showing an interest in wanting to go deer hunting with me but at the time I wasn't in a lease and was only going on hunts I was invited to go on. Last year I got into a lease and finally got all set up. She got her hunter education card this summer, and has been biting the bit waiting to go. Well last weekend was youth weekend and we fianally got to go on her first hunt. Sat morning had three lil yearlings come out (but she said they were too small) that evening nothing. The next morning we sat all morning with nothing to show for until 10:00 when a bobcat stepped out at 100 yards. I asked her if she wanted to shoot it and she was already looking down the scope taking the safety off! She asked me where she should shoot it at and I told her the same place I had showed her to on a deer. She shot and the cat jumped straight up about 5 feet and took off. She thought she had missed but i told to her she hit it. So after waiting a little while we got down and went to where it had been standing and right away saw blood and the look on her face was priceless. I let her do the tracking with no help and we walked about 45 yards through the woods til we walked right up to it. This was her first kill and after her reaction it definetly won't be her last. Next time hopefully will be her first deer. I'm going to try to attach the picture and after you see where the bullet hit I don't think she will have a problem on a deer. I couldn't have been more proud if it had been my own daughter.
6. Bobcat you can see the spots on the legs
7. Well, ever since they legalized the 35 whelen where I hunt for muzzleloader i've been wanting one. I looked and settled on the cva stalker elite in camo/stainless. First thing i did was get the trigger worked on and got it down to a little under 3 pounds. Went to the range and after breaking in the thing shot really well. A three shot group at 150 yards were about 1 1/4inch which i'm happy with for a $300 gun. Going to be using this gun for most of my hunting hopefully and only bringing out the big gun for hunting the powerlines or anywhere theres going to be extra long shots. I'm using the 180 grain barnes vortex bullets 2900 fps. I tried the hornady superformance but got a little better groups with the barnes. Just letting anyone that might be looking at this gun that the one I got is a keeper. (just a heads up though make sure you take the factory screws out that hold the scope rail on and locktight them) I had the scope put on and bore sighted at the place I bought it from and after one trip on my fourwheelers gun rack two had fallen out and the others where loose.
8. Not sure about the scent iq although i do own some of it but one thing I know about rocky clothes is they last. I've had the same outfits for the last 5 to 8 years and they still look great compared to others that faded out after the first season or two worth of washing. And the fact that most of their clothes are waterproof makes them my number one pick when i buy new stuff.
9. I have the compact 45 glock and I like it, pretty darn accurate too. Never ever had a misfire.
10. I have an 08 with almost 100,000 miles no problems and love the truck. Pulls whatever I want with no problem
11. You did the right thing and teachng your son the same, good job
12. Wow amazing story! Don't you love it when a plan comes together! Congrats, all the hard work payed off.
13. That was my favorite show. The captians they brought in last year won't carry the show by themselves especially the long hair guy, didn't care for him at all. That was one of the few shows I made an effort to watch.
