  2. Re: what u think i have found 2 great choke tubes for a ported tube i use a kicks gobblin thunderwith a .655 i.d. for a non-ported tube i use a hastings .660 i.d. but both are top of the line chokes but you get what you pay for by the way any one wanting to try the new flight control fed's needs to try it thru a hastings using rebuffs getting upwards of 160's in 12" circle at 40yds.

  8. Re: high end bows every company has their version of a high end bow but the topic doesnt make sense you need to compare bow to bow then compare warranty to warranty imo the warranty doesnt make the bow any better it makes the company better

  11. Re: my new baby th gun doesnt cost anymore than the average handirifle walmart carries them even though i got mine a the local gun store because it was a shorter time to wait factory bull barrel and the stocks are made by choate they are also factory ive always been scared of bsa scopes but this is the top of their line so i gtot it and tried it imo next to a used leupold rifleman it looked clearer but thats just me i figured since it was on a 223 shock would never be a issue i have already installed the rubber washer trick in the front stock piece and that made wonders i give credit to this forum for that and to think i actually was tossing this and a rossi single

  13. here is the new toy a nef survivor in .223 topped with a bsa platinum target in 6-24-44 and harris bipods best group at 150yds is 1-1/16"
  14. Re: \" Brush guns \" my idea would be of a gun that is light, short, holds mulitple rounds(because if it is really thick your prolly going to hit brush if you wanted to or not) open sights for fast aligning, low recoil for faster follow up shots that being said i would go with thw winchester or marlin 30-30 i haven't hunted with either of these since i was young but know as well as any one else they can handle the task and fit all the requirements

  17. Re: leupold vs swarovski i would take a nikon monarch or a cabelas alaskan guide over the other two any day. you could pay for half of the gun with the price difference
  18. Re: Fed. Flightcontrol revisited (pics) i still have two boxes of the federal grand slams from last year they are rebuffered and usually put around 130-140 in a 12" circle at 40 yds. may have to try the new fed's soon
