no problem these barrel are hand fitted from the factory I seen a few botched jobs from the factory were they removed to much metal from the under lug,I think they must have a jig and a square file and all depends on the guy doing the job.

correct but add another $30.00 for shipping and barrel fitting and a waite around 6 weeks if you are lucky The new remington company that purchased H@R is far from the service what the old company was and the way they fitted barrels.

I should of stated some barrel may require a gunsmith to fit the barrel to the action and check headspace. I had a few barrel fitted by the factory to my action and they were fitted poorly and returned.I know a lot of guys who buy used barrels and fit them to the action Ialso purchased a few used barrels but like anything else you have to know what to look for.
