no problem these barrel are hand fitted from the factory I seen a few botched jobs from the factory were they removed to much metal from the under lug,I think they must have a jig and a square file and all depends on the guy doing the job.

correct but add another $30.00 for shipping and barrel fitting and a waite around 6 weeks if you are lucky The new remington company that purchased H@R is far from the service what the old company was and the way they fitted barrels.

I should of stated some barrel may require a gunsmith to fit the barrel to the action and check headspace. I had a few barrel fitted by the factory to my action and they were fitted poorly and returned.I know a lot of guys who buy used barrels and fit them to the action Ialso purchased a few used barrels but like anything else you have to know what to look for.

lost deer I been a bow hunter from the late 60's and will say my average was a deer with the bow one every two years not a bad average.I have taken a few up in the Rosco area that scored closed to 140 class .I did one year hit a buck of a lifetime late in Oct: 32 yard shot from my tree stand at around dusk but still legal time to shoot.I could see the shot was a little forward and hit the shoulder plate,the deer did a 180 and limb-ed off the same way he came into the shooting lane.I did not search for that deer that evening thinking in would be better the next morning to start tracking.I was up early and by good hunting Buddie did pick up the blood trail and found the shaft 2016 gamegetters but we did track until entering private property and then we contacted the landowner and explained the deer we hit and would like permission to track him without any bows on are persons if it will be alright:he did say yes and we must of track this guy until noon,lost the blood trail and never found the deer.I did approach the landowner later in the season just about the end of the gun season and asked if any one took the deer during rifle season and his ans: was they did not see the deer . I think over the last 38 years of bow hunting I lost only 2 deer but it happens

bushnell SURESHOT: Like I said I am not sure if his is the sport or not,his is more like a binoculars That the one I had and seem to find the same problem with clutter in view not giving the correct distance.

I like to here some reviews on the above range finder from guy who have used it any pro or cons :I am thinking in purchasing one for bow hunting? I had a bushnell 400 rage finder and did not really care for the unit I found the timber clutter in the woods gave me trouble reading the range on game
