  1. I got your pm, pics have been sent. Thanks! I will be up north hunting this weekend but will have access to the e-mail address that I sent the pics from.
  2. Yup. I even pulled it around with my lawn tractor for a little bit. I did about a half acre of land that was full of bruch and little trees. Took about two days to get it prepared for grass. Got it done just in time, the grass is thick/full ready for winter.
  3. I have a used Agri Fab tow behind tiller for sale. I purchased this unit used from a guy last year. He was the original owner and only used it for a couple weekends. The unit looks good and runs excellent. I do have pictres to send to your e-mail address if interested. Pick-up only. Here is a link to the owners manual. http://www.agri-fab.com/manuals_partslist/archive/45-03083.pdf
  4. He started my addiction for bowhunting. He never really did it, just started so I could get out in the woods here in MI at the age of 12. I have been rifle hunting with him every year. He is getting ready to retire from 34 years at GM and I thought what a great gift for his birthday. A great gift to me to, spending more time in the woods with him.
  5. I have finally talked my Dad to get back into bowhunting. He is now of an age where he wants a cross bow. He wants to spend about $350-$400 for a package. Used is an option. What do you guys/gals suggest? I do not have any experience with x bows. Thanks Phil
  6. You got to let them go to let them grow! It doesn't take as long as you think. Below are pictures of the same buck, one from 2007 and then one just taken this week. WOW what a difference!
  7. Team Realtree, When are you going to start making Tall sizes? I would love to be outfitted in your clothing but at 6'4" your stuff just won't cut it. PLEAASSEEEEEEEE
  8. Great! The wife and I went to see it last night. It was hilarious! It does have a lot of dirty language though. "You manage a baseball team? a local team or little league? ......ahhhh No, its a fantasy team."
  9. As stated above, start now! It is never too early but it can be too late. Not many jobs out there give pensions anymore it is all on you. You can open an E*trade account or some other online trading forum. I started mine years ago with just $2K. My best advice is focus on several companies that have been know to have the up/down trend. Buy low sell high, hold for it to come down, the buy low sell high. I wish it was that simple though............there IS RISK!
  10. Congrats! Marriage is definetly a LOT of work..........
  11. Hello Everyone, I got my first Turkey this morning! A nice gobbler wiht an 8" beard and .75" spurs. I was walking in this morning when I heard him gobble. I got to the field as quickly as possbile, set up my decoys and sat down. I started to call to him. He responded immediately. I had him on a line for about 45 mintues from 200 yards away. I thought he would approach straight in front of me into the field but he got on the road to my right. I was forzen while he had the 50 yard walk from the field edge until he got behind a big tree so I could shoulder my 935. Man was he mad........strutten and gobbling at my gobbler decoy with the hen. He got to about 30 yards and gobbled again as he approached. I put the green dot on him and just as he stretched out I put him down. WHAT A HUNT! I only had my cell phone to take pictures. I want to get a full mount of him and wanted to know if anyone when a good taxidermist near Pontiac, MI. Also, how much does a full mount run? I will never forget this hunt and my first turkey.......I want him stuffed to keep the memory vivid!
  12. Guys and Gals, I got my first gobbler this morning at 7:30. I want to get him mounted but I do not know where to go. Can anyone near Pontiac, MI reccomend a taxidermist? Also how much does a full mount run? Thanks Phil
  13. Got the Mossberg 935 sighted in today. I put on a red dot and had to zero it in. This thing is great. Was shooting out to 40 yards with 3.5" Winchester Xtd #5, it was putting about 10-15 in the head and neck! The shoulder is sore after 15 rounds though . I have the first hunt here in Michigan and will be leaving Thursday night for a 3 day hunt. Hope to put down my first Tom.
