  1. I 've never saw those before Adjam. Were can you buy them and what are they called?? I do know its hard to find a true dowel thats not crooked at some point. I went through about 15 of them at Lowe's before I found the best one they had.
  2. I just hope it did not bend the scope..:mad:
  3. I shot my new CVA Accura this afternoon for the first time with my new Leupold scope mounted with Durasight integral mounts. First shot hit 2 feet to the right and I knew something was not right. Here's why!!!! I took the scope off and placed a 1" dowel in the rings and the scope mount screws on the barrel are way off. CVA is sending me a call tag and replacing the whole rifle.
  4. I bought some also but have yet to get out to test it. This is my first ML and looking for a good deer bullet for it. I like the Harvester Brand Saber Tooth and Scorpion Funnel point. Also may try the Barnes Expander MZ.
  5. Looking for a bullet to try in my ML. I like the Harvester but having a hard time deciding on the 300 grain Saber Tooth or 300 grain Scorpion Funnel Point. 90% will be deer hunting but would also like a bullet for both deer or elk.
  6. Thats the problem. Seems like most companies in the US have little to no customer service anymore.
  7. I bought a CVA 209 Multi capper last week and the thing doesn't work right. I emailed CVA about the problem and here's their response. Remember this is a $11 item. My email to them: From: [email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2008 10:11 PM To: [email protected] Subject: 209 Muti Capper I bought a new capper about a week ago and it does not work correctly. I am using Winchester W209 primers and the capper tool will not let the primers slide into the storage part. I realize that this is only a $11 investment but I would have to drive 40 miles to return it back to the store I bought it at. Thanks, Bobby Their Response: You will need to send it to CVA Repair ,5988 Peachtree Corners East, Norcross, GA 30071 include your name, address , daytime phone number and a note telling why you have sent this to us. There is a printable repair from our web site at this link: http://www.cva.com/pdfs/CVA_Repair_Form.pdf My reply to them: Sure I will be glad to spend $3-4 dollars for return shipping on $11.00 item. I now see just what true customer service your company offers. Hope my new Accura never needs any service. You have a good day now and don't worry about your consumers.
  8. That reminds me of the time my Mossberg 835 with a 3 1/2" load flipped me off of a five gallon bucket I was using for a seat. Boy did that hurt...;)
  9. I bought the very same ML. Let me know what powder and bullet you use. This is my very first ML and I know nothing about them.
  10. Got a new Accura the other day. Would like some opinions on what powder to use. Leaning toward Hodgdon777 loose powder but would like to hear some more opinions. This is my first ML and have never even shot one before. :)
  11. If I use a external battery do I leave the internal batteries in?
  12. He's a keeper for sure. Not bad for your first trailcam pic...
  13. Can you post or email me some pics? Sounds like Moultrie has got its act together finally.
  14. hoytguy. Does the camera go into sleep mode like Moultrie's past cameras? The older cameras would take several seconds before waking up and then take the picture.
