My thought process has been a little scattered after getting this pic. I can't wait to pull the card again and see if he decided to show up again. I will let post more pics, should I get them.

A friend and I went out today on our lunch break to the place we found them yesterday, and we picked another 5 lbs! I have never, ever had this much luck. I ended up selling several pounds today on craigslist and I gave all the rest to friends and family. I felt like Santa Clause today, driving around and dropping off presents to all the people that I know who love morels. Happy hunting!!! Here's another pic of our haul from last night.

Hit it BIG tonight My cousin and I found the honey hole of all honey holes today!!! In less than 2 hours we pick over 450 morels!!! Not too bad considering my previous one day total was less than 40. Fried some tonight and oh man were they good.

I found 3 small ones on Saturday and 8 Giant False morels yesterday. This was the first time I've ever found false morels. Here's one:

I like to drive around at dusk and hit an owl call. They will often gobble back and give their location away.

The buck that was nicknamed "The Varnish Ghost" is finally back home! I used a new taxidermist, who said he would have it done is 4 months. Well 358 days later, he is done. I am very pleased with his work and the wait was worth it. Now I just have to find that perfect spot on the wall of fame down at deer camp. I will snap some pics of his final resting place when I get down there this weekend.

My wife and I won the best costume contest at the party we went to last Friday! We worked pretty hard on these, and most everything was homemade. We bought out base layers, but all the furs and embellishments were made by us! I thought they turned out awesome! And for those that are curious, our leggings are made from bath mats! Check it out!

I was a huge 311 fan back in high school! I saw them twice and they put on an awesome show. I haven't heard any of their new stuff, but sounds like fun to me.
