It has been a couple years since I have been on here and just wondering how everyone is doing.

Our rut is just about to start and season here runs till Feb 27th. Our cameras have started getting alot more buck movement.

Traffic on the 15 is really bad and on a normal day it takes about 30 min to 45 to get to Nellis AFB from the strip and the raceway is just up the street from base. On a race day the traffic is 100 times worse so I would leave plenty early.

Good Luck Bowhunter97 I am just a couple hours west of where you are going to be. We just picked up another 80 acres to hunt here too so will be putting out feeders and cameras to see whats on it too.

Thanks!! I have some pretty good property up there in Illinois to be able to get bucks like this without any scouting and in only 2 weeks up there a year. Imagine if I lived there and could scout alot more. I was trying for the twin to the one that the guy across the street got. Saw him a couple times but no shot. I also had a nice 14 point come in to 40 yards but he wouldnt give me a good shot and he made it past all 3 of us. He was 33 yards from Laura and a turkey trying to roost broke the limb and almost hit the buck in the face when it flew down. Then he came to me and was at 40 yards but stayed in the stuff i couldnt get a shot and then went to Bills stand and was 40 yards from him and Bill got a shot off but he hit a twig and missed by inches so that buck has a guardian angleand I passed on a nice 140 class that was at 10 yards broadside because he was headed for one of my friends stands but he ended up bypassing it and didnt give her a shot. 14 point

Well I am back from my 2 week hunting trip to Illinois and on the first evening I got this 8 Point and then the next evening got a nice doe. We saw alot of huge bucks on our place but couldnt get a shot at them. I will get him registered when I find my camera with pics of the tags and I will also post more pics from my trip.

hey guys just checking in. My season down here in Florida doesn't start till Oct 20th. We are planting our food plots right now and have the feeders and cameras out but only have 1 pic of a nice 6 point. I will also be going to Illinois this year like I do every year from Nov 3rd till Nov 18th and will be bow hunting and gun hunting up there at my parents farm.

Sorry for not posting alot this year but with the divorce and moving into a new house I have been really busy. I am still out hunting and have till 27 Feb down here in Florida and the rut down here is just now starting so I hope to get something down before the end of season. I am still trying and havent forgot about you guys.

I live In Crestview, FL and am Stationed at Eglin AFB which is just across the bay from Destin. I have been down here for 5 years and there is plenty to do down here. There are plenty of charter fishing outfits down in the destin area and there is even a bowfishing charter too. As for the best place to fish all the charters are really good for fishing in the gulf. If you are shore fishing then i know of a couple places that are pretty good right by the destin bridge. But as for Gator hunting here is the web site to get the info you need Statewide Alligator Harvest Program

I live 25 miles north of FT Walton Beach in Crestview, FL and am stationed at Eglin AFB and Gulf Shores/ Orange beach is only about an hour away from me. The Beach is always nice down here but as for other stuff to do in Orange Beach there is a good amount of stuff to do. I am sure you have checked this web site out. Gulf Shores Alabama - Orange Beach - Alabama Gulf Coast Vacations I know there are usually a good amount off concerts over in that area during the summer and you are also not that far from Pensacola where the Navy Blue angles are stationed out of and they usually do shows down there and there is also the USS Alabama that you can go and take a tour of.

Congrats everyone on the deer you have got!! I am sorry I haven't been on here checking in as much as I usually do but my season this year is the worst I have ever had. I have already gone to Illinois for 2 weeks and got nothing. Plus to top it all off I am going through the big D so my mind isn't where it should be.

Well I am up in Illinois for my yearly hunting trip. I have seen some good bucks already.

Just checking in. I will be getting into stand down here in Florida on the 22nd of Oct. and then I will be heading up to Illinois to my parents place on the 28th of Oct till the 12th of Nov. I have already got some good bucks on trail cam from both down here in Florida and up in Illinois. As for a team name any name will worrk for me.
