I've been in Japan for the last month on work and looked for something to hunt while over here. I was'nt able to find anything and was kinda bumed. I am going home this weekend and my manager just came in this week. He was telling me about a place i could go and fish with birds...carmerants sp?. They tie several to a line and put a choker around their neck and let them go in the river. Pull em back in and pull the fish out of their mouths. I will be back late aug early sept and will go get pics and post. Guess its a foreigners hang out, grab a couple beers and watch it happen.

i work at a toyota factory that builds the sienna, highlander, and sequoia. the quality standards are crazy at toyota plants. all vehicle manufacturers have quality checkers but the dedicated quality checkers that we have throughout our plants heavily out weigh the number that other brands have on the floor. toyota knows the price of heavily manned check points is nothing when it creates return customers.

awesome cut but the blades look like a serrated knife after the shot..pure junk one kill is all you get then another $20 for replacement blades.slick trick is alot more durable and just as accurate.....just dont have the 3 inch cut but as long as u hit where u aim it doesnt matter

just got back this morning from my trip to florida. we had some issues with closed locks on okeechobee and finding ramps in our hunt areas. spent two nights on east side with not much luck, majority of gators were back in flooded timber. went to the south to try our other tags and managed two gators. the 6 footer with bow and the 9 footer with snatch hook.

we are doing it on our own without an outfitter. as a nonresident tags are $1200, for a resident it is $260 for your first set of two tags and $65 for any remaining sets after all the drawn applicants have had their opportunity to purchase tags. we know someone that lives and Fl and he applied as a resident and was drawn. we now just have to buy an agents license for $50 which will legally allow us to shoot and harvest the gators and tag them with his tags as long as he is with us. kind of a loophole that many people do not know about. a friend of mine went two yrs ago to east okeechobee and he said it was nothing to shine the light and see 30 gators. he ended up with one over 10' and his brother one over 11'.

im headed to Fl for a alligator hunt in late Aug. we have two tags for east okeechobee and two for south okeechobee. cant wait. ought to be a great trip as long as i come back with all my limbs

a friend just bought a McPherson signed Z7 for $750. suppost to be 300 made and i think it is #63. told him it was just a name on the bow that it was much more valuable without the name but with blood on it. just my two cents.

im looking for a fish finder for under $250 any suggs. i am thinking about the garmin 160C but still not sure.

ingram was the only one who contributed to alabama winning....oh and the freshman QB for Tx. what do u think the spread would have been if it had been known that a true freshman QB would have been leading the horns by being thrown into a championship game. IMO alabama did nothing but show up and run the clock down to 1 before snapping the ball from the 3rd quarter on. they were still scared of gilbert possibly scoring on a 3rd TD pass. Imagine the headlines had texas pulled it out and beat that "team like they have not faced this year", with gilbert. this was like a knife and a gun fight and the knife almost won.

i had a whitetail that had an 8" measurement from eye to nose we ended up going with a mule deer mount. the guys name is joe coombs i think and his number is 800-722-2327

bought one from bass pro and tried it at the house before taking it out. everything worked so i took it out for a week and when i checked it none of the night pics turned out. i exchanged it with no problems. when i got the second one i put the batteries in and and batt. indicator said dead with new batt. i went on ahead and put it out. checked it today, it had no power and 0 pics. looks like i will be sending this back and going with another brand!!!

i started shooting them last year. my groups at 100yds touch with a 4x simmons. remington claims 3" high at 100yds and zeroed at 150yds and i think it was 6" low at 200yds. ive deleted my email and cant remember the 200yd drop. i dont shoot high shoulder shots i just hit the lungs and both bucks i have shot with them had good trails and one went down within 40yds the other within 10yds. i wouldnt shoot anything else.

I was drawn for a hunt on Dec 30. Has anyone been here that can recommend an area to hunt. I have a topo map of the base but kinda hard to tell where to go other than funnels.

i picked up 8 boxes for $6 a box at a local store. would have bought more but thats all they have. at 100yds with a win 1300 and 4x simmons scope my holes are touching without a shooting vise. i read they get 2" groups at 200yds and i believe it. i have not found any bullet drop info and have not got anywhere to shoot the 200yds. i shot remington core lokt and copper solids....there is no way i would go back

oh the leasing thing is already here. it went from $6-$7 an acre to $10+. i would say within 3-5yrs we will be leased up by outfitters like illinois. it sucks for us but the gov. will be making all kinds of money and thats whats important:hammer2:

my wife shoots a 870 20ga youth. we mounted a simmons 4x and have had zero problems with it holding true from year to year. i prefer her gun over my 12ga any day!!

with all the pro ball players, singers, etc. why is it ok for them to use drugs and commit felonies only to be forgotten in a couple of weeks and allowed to carry on with their carrers like nothing happened. i think their needs to be a zero tollerance unfortunately money talks. these people are role models to the youth. ive heard "they served their time" so many times and that would apply if they were everyday citizens that thousands and thousands of youth were not looking up to them. im afraid the message being conveyed is if you break the law its ok, you will be forgiven. am i alone in my thinking??
