When you are ready to go back to work, you're probably still sick........ mentally. Seriously though, glad you are doing okay!! I'm sure it was extremely scary going through that whole mess. They just had an article about it in our local paper yesterday... such a shame for that restaurant. Hope they get to the bottom of it soon.

Chica - I don't have much experience shooting a bow, but I would highly suggest shooting whatever weight is most comfortable for you now. If you think you can pull back 50lb repeatedly or under pressure (when shooting that big buck!), then perhaps go for the 50-60lb that way you could up the weight if you wanted. But, if you feel like you couldn't ever handle anything more than 50lb then go for the 40-50lb that way you could even lower it to the lowest legal limit of 45. It all boils down to what you feel like you would be most comfortable with! Go to the bow shop and try out both, then pick the one you like the best. Hope this helps.

It's amazing what kind of stunts people will pull just out of jealousy or flat out stupidity. I've never been turkey hunting yet but I can only imagine some joker walking in on me while calling or something. While I've only been duck hunting a handful of times for sea ducks, Justin and I have had guys set up 100 yards or so up the coast from us where the ducks come from 90% of the time, just so they can get a shot at them before anyone else can. Sometimes, even shooting when the ducks are WAY out of range. Absolutely burns me up.

This thread has made my day! LOL. Thanks to everyone so much for the kind words and all. We will definitely be posting pics from the day when the house arrives and gets all set up, and of course wedding pictures too! The big day is June 13th, 2009 and we are having the wedding down here. I'm getting more and more excited as everything is starting to come together.

To give everyone an idea of how much work (and $$) has gone into this, here is a before and after pic of the driveway leading up to where the house is. It's approx. 600ft long. Thanks to everyone who has replied so far. Justin and I are living proof that fairy tales do come true.

Randy, trust me..... that is gonna be in the works ASAP. LOL. When I was there in June, Justin and I were over at the land looking for wood to make a fire to roast marshmallows, and while looking, Justin came across a HUGE deer track. It was the biggest I've ever seen. So, there is a big buck there somewhere with MY name on it. Lewis, if you read this, don't be getting any ideas. LOL.

Good luck to everyone who entered this year! I also took a year away from it because of how disappointing last year was for me. I couldn't even score a doe for our team. Oh well. Besides, I will be busy up in Nova Scotia for a while this year. Everyone watch, I'll probably bust a monster up there or something if I get to go. LOL That's how it works I guess.

Oh how frustrating. I absolutely despise telemarketers of any kind. About a month ago, I was getting phone calls left and right asking for some guy (forget the name) and I kept telling them that they had the wrong number, etc. Well days that I was at work I'd get 3 and 4 calls from these jokers. I finally called back and asked what the deal was, and they said that whoever this guy was had given them a bogus number (my cell #) and apparently it was some money collection agency of some type. I was furious and told them who I was and all and never heard from them again. Hopefully when they track that guy down, they pursue some kind of action against him for giving false information! The ones that really get me are the troopers association. When they call the house and I tell them we aren't interested then they get down right rude! I just hang up the phone.

What kind of ring did ya give her Cody? Promise? :confused:Engagement? Congrats!
