  1. Boxers Got to love them, I remember when Griff was that small. He is a champ X3 out of the justawin from Ohio. He is one of Troubleshotres kids....
  2. Mature buck Yes sir that is a good buck. I am glad that you had him wearing Realtree. and I hope he was using a Primos can, and in a lone wolf tree stand ,and shooting a mathews with a muzzy tipped beaman, and don't forget the tinks 69. Wow it is a good thing we did not forget any of the other major brands.... Awww I forgot the dead down wind. sorry guys.....
  3. PA bull IowaDeer. it is a very limited draw hunt. 12 bull tags and 30 cow tags. I was drawn in 04 out of 120k people. I shot a 7x7 51" wide with 56" main beams. I have to wait five years to put in again. I have attached a pic of the bull I shot.
  4. I am listing the Beretta 40 Cal S&W that I was issued by the PA State Police. It comes with 3 eleven round mags, Trijicon night sights, blue hard case, cleaning brushes, and 4 boxes of Ammunition. This weapon has the PSP Trooper patch on the left side. Asking price is $500.00
  5. Pa Bulls IowaDeerHTR. Yes I did post a video from a bull last year. The bull was shot by a lucky hunter and scored like 454 B/C. Here is the video from last year. And I have also added a few other pics and videos. I just love chasing the elk. I can retire in 7 years and I am moving to MT. Just to chase them bad boys....
  6. Was able to get withing 32 yds of this hog. This is a free range elk here in Pa.. enjoy
  7. Dodge. In 06 I traded my 2500 Chevy Crew with the D-max for a 06 Dodge 2500 Mega Cab 5.9 Cummings. It rides just as nice as my chevy did. And as far as being loud, you must be nuts. I pulled a 8300lb trailer from Pa to Mo last spring turkey hunting. I had an advg of 17.5 towing and running around hunting in 3600 miles. I get 20-21 in normal every day driving. 4 grown men and we had a ton of room. Plus I am a Police officer I see vehicles involved in accidents every day. I value the lives of my wife and 3 kids very much, if We are hit by anything less than a commercial vehicle. We should all walk away.... Mine stickered at 48K I gave 37K and some change. No problems as of yet 22k on the clock, the Cummings should be good for about 270k miles. Grab the deal and run it sounds like a good one. Check on a few of the Cummings web sites. Bunch of good information to be found there.
  8. Bowtech I sold my Mathews Xt and picked up an 07 Bowtech Alli. Best move I have mad in a long time. I am shooting a 29" drawand it is zipping a 398 gr arrow at 280fps. Oh ya that is at 65lbs. I did shoot the Guardian and I did not like the draw cycle.
  9. Big buck ?? He is just between Pig and a Hawg... Nice deer.
  10. Winners Congrats to the winning team members... Way to go.
  11. The turkey hunter Wow Laura, even though I never met Dave we keep in touch last year with him being on my turkey team. I know he will be missed by the people that he touched and healed. I do not know whet else to say. The fullfan bids 220.00.

Sad news I don't know what to say. Dave will be missed . RIP my friend..
  13. 07 Pa season Unlike you my season went well here in Mercer Co. Worked a bunch of birds and got whipped by a few. But overall it was a good year. My son and I doubled, then I filled my second tag, and was able to call up one for my Father in-law.
  14. Bang Red beard, My friend you have a way with words. Congrats to your wonderful season.
  15. Team 24 Here is on for team 24, date on the camera is off by one day. 24 3/4 lbs 10 3/8 beard 1 " spurs.
  16. Got one Okay I will keep it short and to the point. I slept in this morning due to the hunting being tough here in PA. I left the house @ 7 and had this dude on the ground @ 0835. I hunted where I killed the monster with 1 1/2 hooks last year. Found me a nice big red oak to set against and did some light calling. On my 3 series of yelps, he gobbled. Then he came in 190 deg from where he first gobbled. 38 yds and down he went. 24 1/2 lbs 10 3/8 beard 1" spurs.
  17. Since the day Austin was born 13 years ago I have dreamed of the day we would take a double on longbeards. Well this morning at 0624 we both pulled the trigger within a fraction of a second of each other. Here is how it went down, Last night I roosted the birds and with Austin off school I knew it would be the best chance we had prior to the weekend hunters filling the woods. We were setting side by side and at 0544 Austin said did you hear that? It was the first gobble of about 50. The birds flew down and with some very light calling, I received a double gobble. Austin just kept looking at me smiling... I think I told him to set still about 147 times, he sure fidgets a bunch. The turkeys gobbled about 65 yds out and I knew we were in for a show. I just hoped that both birds would come together. I whispered to Austin, if they both come "you take the one on the left". About 20 seconds later Austin said I hear something walking. And then I saw the two fullfans coming and then the white heads. I could hear Austin's breaths getting deeper and I could see his gun shaking. I had set out a B-Mobil decoy and they came right at him. I have never seen a gobbler strut like these birds did!!! I asked Austin if he had a shot? He said no. This went on for about a minute. All the time I had my bird in the cross hairs with the slack out of my trigger, waiting fot him to shoot. He whispered " dad I have a shot" I told him to shoot. At the moment his gun roared so did mine. He beat me to the birds and said "we did it" After a bunch of hugs and high fives we picked up and started for the truck. After a short stop at the land owners home to say thank you. We came home to show the girls. I have done a bunch of things in my 43 years that I look back on and smile. But I know I will never forget the sound of my son saying. "Dad I hear something walking". What a rush.... Oh ya Austins was 23 lbs and mine was only 19. I am never going to hear the end of that one....
  18. Mo Hunt I also hunted in Texas and Shannon Co's. This was year 16 for me and year 30 for my father in-law. Worst hunting we have ever seen. The most birds I could hear in the am was 3. On the first sat I ran into 6 other guys. We hunt along the Current river. Turkeys 4 us 0...
