Been there done that...I order alot of my archery gear from Keystone Country Store,,What I like about their site is that you can see the exact number in stock of the item you want....But I order most of my misc gear from Cabelas because they send me coupons every so often:soda:..

I sighted in my Knight with them today,,,,I ordered up two 30 packs of the 240gr XTP's from Cabelas they had great reviews there so I thought I would give them a try this year.......Check out the reviews on the Cabelas web site......... :D

Missed my chance at a big 8 this evening,,,He came in at 50 yards turned like he was going to come right past my stand then took a detour through some thick brush and vanished......Had a open shot when he was at 50 yards that I could have made but didnt want to chance,,Better safe than sorry.......Thats the way it goes sometimes I guess......Should have,,,Could have,,Would have,,But I didnt........ :D

I guess iam one of the last to check in:yes:.......Iam ready just waiting for opening day....I prefer to hunt with a bow more than anything else,,I spend more days in the woods with a bow in my hand,,Just recently I picked up a crossbow and would like to tag my first ever X bow deer this season,,,,,I also take advantage of the blackpower and gun seasons :gun2:.......During the fall I spend all of my free time hunting,,During the summer months I spend most of my free time getting ready for the fall hunting seasons and by spending that much time in the woods doing my homework I have been lucky enough to take my fair share of game like I always say you cant kill them laying in bed....I hunt some public land but most of my hunting I do on private land........Hopefully this year will be another great season.........For the last few years I have ran a contest much like this one over on the PSE forum but this year the forum seems to be down so here iam going to give you guys %110....Good luck to all of you maybe we can get lucky and win this:soda:........... :D

Iam a Muzzy fan myself....But just about any good quality sharp fixed head will get the job done if put in the right place........ :D

Congrats,,,,Glad you found her.....Unfortunately I wasnt as lucky:(,,,Picked back up on the blood trail about 8am just a little over 14 hours after the shot,,,Followed the trail I guess for about another 300 yards had good blood even found a few small chunks of meat we found a couple of places where he laid down and after that the blood got thin and vanished on a trail,,,My buddys and I followed the trail about another 300 yards and found nothing,,We then split up and did a grid search and still nothing..We covered alot of ground some places we had to go on our hands and knees but just couldnt find him.....That is the first one I have lost in a very long time and have felt bad about it since it happened,,,,,I would rather miss them anyday than wound them......One good thing I guess that came from it all was that my buddys 14 year old son who lives to hunt and fish got to go every step of the way with us during the tracking from the first drop of blood to the last and iam sure he learned alot from it,,,,,,He was a great little helper even though we didnt find the deer,,,And for that iam gonna buy that young man a trail cam for Christmas this year........... :D

Your not alone on this one,,,,,I shot a good buck this evening also shot was around 80 yards with a muzzleloader......When the smoke cleared the buck hobbled away,,,,When the blood is good its sprayed all over the ground,,,When the blood is bad its just very small drops about 5 to 10 yards apart......By the way he walked off I know he is hurt bad.......Tracked him about 300 yards heard him take off so decided to back out and wait untill morning..............I know the feeling and it sucks.......I hope to pick back up on the trail first thing in the morning........Good luck to ya...... :D

You can still use your deer tags on elk in Virginia........One was killed last year just a couple of miles from my house:eek:...........:D:D

I have one,,I try to at least carry it one day a season,,I have killed alot of deer with it........I had mine reworked a few years ago,,Had the stocks cut and refinished,,Barrel cut,,Had Williams sights installed,,,Then later scoped it and put on a bipod.......They make great deer rifles just not many ammo options to choose from,,,My load of choice for it has always been the Federal 150gr hi-shok soft points which are hard to find at any of the local sporting good shops around here........The .303 will get the job done no doubt............. :D

October 16,2008 Virginia Black Bear 20 yard shot took out both lungs,,30 yard recovery. Parker Frontier 2+,,Muzzy 4 blades,,Gold Tips... :D

I use Pine Ridge instant arrow glue......Used this stuff for the last 3 years not lost a vane yet.......... :D

Liberty makes great safes,,,I have a Colonial........You will be very pleased......Makes you feel alot better knowing that your guns and other important items are safe while your away............Make sure you have a buddy or two handy to help you get it in the house....A good dolly will help too.................You can also bolt it down to the floor for a little extra safety against theft......... :D
